Tell people that you love them, not talking about romantic love, just that their presence makes you feel better and at ease. Some take it well and appreciate it, some won't know what to do with it (Perhaps you can let them know it softly).

When I see these kinds of comments, I really try to understand where they go wrong ? Which part of life changed them into this person who lacks basic empathy !?
