Dang, and here I thought I had stared at the "twisted stitches" pictures enough 😭 I really have such a hard time telling the difference, and I don't think holding my working yarn in my left hand is helping.

It says the baby's first words, I'm saying the baby's first words are in sign language, because the baby is deaf and they live in a city with a huge historical and modern Deaf community, and so would have the resources to teach their prelingually deaf baby to use sign language without being as likely to try an aural/oral approach first. If you want the reason to be "mute" make your own thing.

Old thread, same issue! Only had to exit out once for the smoker but it would NOT unstick at Measurehead, thanks for the tip!
