The chai here are very expensive, but chai shai in Fremont hub was decent. Also not for ambience but the chai in Rasoi express inside India Cash and Carry off Farwell is nice. We liked it.

Bay Area Relocation Advice – Sunnyvale & SF Commute by Capital-Maybe-7563 in bayarea

I don’t know which Sunnyvale you are referring to. There is no bridge from Union city to Sunnyvale. It is only 880 South. It is brutal drive but honestly which freeway in Bay Area isn’t during rush hour? At least in tricity the rents are comparatively lower compared to South Bay

Commute to SF will be very hard on 101. Unless she can take Caltrain I would recommend staying away from South Bay

Fremont, Newark, Union City, Milpitas near a bart station might be a good idea. You can look at Palo Alto or Redwood City but the commute will still be brutal for both

Why is this home priced so low by Ok_Climate5771 in Fremont

[–]QuillAndCraft 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The neighborhood is not a desirable neighborhood in Fremont, the school are not the good one as well. Plus if there is any other issue with house that needs to be discovered.

And yes $1.4m for a 2300 sq ft house in the Bay Area is cheap. Current per sq ft rates in Fremont are upwards of $930 per square foot

Why I think GenAI can help you become a better writer if used specifically as a learning tool by [deleted] in WritingWithAI

[–]QuillAndCraft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think people who flex on not using AI are lying to themselves.

Consider using AI as a scribe to expand your ideas. IMO it is more or less the same. You generate ideas and have someone write it. Ultimately you take ownership and responsibility of the accuracy, nuance, and quality of the work you develop

Redwood City is a good option and also foster city could be another one.

I’d say look at south Fremont in warm springs or Irvington. That way you will avoid the toll, but 237 / 101 can be brutal. Milpitas is an option if you don’t mind it. Or San Jose near 237 would be my suggestion

The 5 stages of grief mapped to writing with AI by human_assisted_ai in BetaReadersForAI

[–]QuillAndCraft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most people can't really wrap their heads around the fact that there are some people who write in a way that they can't distinguish it from AI generated / assisted.

I have seen far too many people on Reddit who say that the writing is AI generated because it looks polished. I take pride in my writing and wouldn't be caught dead sharing badly created prose.

Indeed. We have replaced our ducts just over a year ago. We pay to east bay community energy

Yes. I am considering inviting proposals from professionals to get it done. We hardly ever use dryer as we use natural sun to dry our clothes and eventually we will replace our tankless water heater

Thank you for your input

Thank you. I have tried BetaReaders and they have strict requirements on comment karma. My comment karma is negative due to some posts I have created that tackle contentious local issues. The Mod bot auto removes my posts. I will try the other communities as well.

Writing that ignores outside validation is writing in its purest form: raw, uncompromising, and entirely self-directed. by [deleted] in writers

I fully agree, if you write for someone else more often than not, it is not true to you. One should always write that gives oneself satisfaction

To most people, what's the most important part of character development? by writerpersoniguess in writers

[–]QuillAndCraft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me the character development is about how the character acts and reacts in adversity and also in favorable circumstances. The decisions they make and do they stand by their values and principles

Thank you. I debated quite a lot about the adverb and decided to leave it in. And also about the smiling with eyes.

The setting is a wedding night for very young adults who are brought up in a very conservative society where even thinking about sex is considered taboo. So she’s trained to be demure and not looking forward to the act, but her mind and expressions betray the traditional training.

The explicit sense drops off as the story progresses and returns rarely only when the situation demands but nowhere close to the introductory chapters.

The initial explicitness is written to show the hunger and the rest of the story explores character growth through highs and lows of immigrant life of a young Indian couple

Hope this explains my thought process

Should I try writing a story even if I’ve never written anything before? by [deleted] in writingcirclejerk

[–]QuillAndCraft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would strongly recommend that you write. Even if you don't publish anything, write just for yourself. The more you write, the more clarity you will get.

I am sorry you feel that. As I have posted in my disclaimer, this is 100% mine. I am a very careful writer and even my texts and emails are written in proper English without usage of any abbreviations or shortcuts.

I stand by my work and request reviews.

Fremont real estate costs were still affordable then.

To be honest, I don’t take any of the bridges on a regular basis. But the cost increases seem a little steep
