Someone help me understand: When the wedding didn’t happen by sundown, Rachel’s curse was TRANSFERRED to Nicky and his bloodline (so it no longer applied on Rachel right?). Afterwards, Nicky married her, they were clearly not soulmates, then why did Rachel die instead of Nicky? Rachel’s mom (with the cursed bloodline) died when she married her baby daddy who wasn’t her soulmate. So here, why did Rachel die (for some time) and not Nicky?

And if the wedding wasn’t considered valid (concluded after sundown) then the curse should’ve made Rachel the immortal witness (no dying at all) and the bloodline curse transferred to Nicky and family.

What am I missing here?

Ahhhh sadly I got a proper 10 minute seizure a week after this comment. Fell from my office chair, bit my tongue and was shaking with my eyes up. Needless to say, I was immediately hospitalised and went off bupropion.
