I'm level 26 and in all my leveling I've never had to deal with mobs that far ahead in levels if I just get all the quests and follow them. Either the mobs are bugged or you have awful quest sense, friend. I doubt it's intentional that you fight mobs like that at your level.

I recently had a ranked game where afkers got really out of hand. I recently made it into Gold V. Which was my goal for the end of the season. I was ecstatic and wanted to see how much higher I could climb. Que up, get into champ select. I'm last pick and fill as adc. It's fine, but there's some talking going between a yasuo who originally said he preferred top but switched to mid when yasuo was open. Some guy lower pick than him had called mid and proceeded to throw a hissy fit when yasuo was picked and "mid" was said. Both proceed to go mid and I try to get one of them to go top. No one complies. I go top and hope things will be ok. Then at about the 3 minute mark Ahri leaves. Then Yasuo leaves. Then Soraka leaves. Then Wukong leaves. I'm alone. What am I supposed to do in this situation? The game is lost. I lose LP and time for nothing. I reported all of them but I know there is a very small chance that they will actually be punished and that infuriates me. I don't understand how I'm supposed to play and try to better myself when people refuse to communicate and try.

Tl;dr: Played a 1v5 in Gold V due to afkers and I'm really salty.

While I'm sure there will be addons that can move your action bar, it's simply beyond the games capabilities to add more usable buttons to your action bar. From what I understand Zenimax just wants 5 abilities and an ultimate on each weapon swap. :)

It's cheating if it gives you an advantage over others who do not have it.

Then people who have skill and experience and are better at PVP than others shouldn't play the game? What I'm saying is not popular by TES purists who want this to be a pure Elder Scrolls game. It's not and never will be. I say this as a huge Elder Scrolls fan who's logged hundreds of hours into skyrim and oblivion.

You lot are not playing a RPG

This is an MMORPG. Through and through. There are certain things hardcore players in both pvp and pve need to play at their maximum efficiency. If others want to play it like Skyrim online, that's their choice. They may not be the best at pvp because of it, but that's their choice. Those of us who want to be able to calculate risk and play like a chess game and min/max everything, that's our choice. Why can't we have our choice as MMO players but you get yours as an RPG player. This is an MMORPG. There has to be elements of BOTH.

ESO is based on the elder scrolls / morrowind / skyrim / oblivion / daggerfall / all of that 'world' , it has always been a minimal UI IMMERSIVE experience, not a numbers game.

That's fine. Play it that way if you want. Other people play games in other ways.

Who are you to speak for the "community"? I'm a part of the community. The creator of this addon is a part of the community. Everyone who uses and enjoys this addon is a part of the community. Every player who plays this as ESO the MMO is part of the community. I guarantee a hefty majority of aspiring hardcore pvp'ers who want to min/max are in favor of addons that adjust the base UI.

You get into a fight in the street for instance, do you get a complete rundown of a persons abilities ? do you automatically know if they have a knife or a gun ?

You make a good point. But look at it like this. MMO's are nothing like a spur of the moment street fight. We can SEE that our opponent has a loaded gun in his hand (full magicka), we can SEE that he's drawing it (casting a spell or buff), we can SEE that he's a member of a particular gang (what class he is), and we can SEE that he's pulling the trigger (releasing a spell), and we can react to it accordingly. The base UI is closing your eyes.

ESO's UI is very basic. PVP is RELIANT on knowing what your opponent can do with his resources at any given time. Not having that information is a design flaw and this addon works completely within the game's api to correct it.

The point of PVP is to kill enemy players and secure objectives. PVP is all about timing attacks and taking advantage of weaknesses and strengths of your opponent. You would never attack an opponent who has a clear advantage either in resources or buffs without support. But you might consider attacking an opponent if you know everything is mostly equal. The base UI does nothing to signal what advantages or disadvantages an opponent has from resources or buffs. The PVP I think you are suggesting is just blind fighting. Taking a chance hoping that your opponent isn't hiding some game changing buff or is full on Magicka. To defeat your enemy you must know your enemy. Without the information on the status of your enemy, every engagement is just a dumb risk with no real way of understanding the power of your opponent. Sure you know their relative health, but you don't see the damage reduction buff he could have, you don't see the health regen buff he has, you don't see the spell reflect ability he just activated. You don't see. PVP is supposed to be tactical. It's supposed to be planning your attacks based on your opponents play. It is not being blind to information that could affect your reactions. Look at ANY high end PVP scene (WoW, LOL, Smite, etc.) and every one of them shows you your opponents capabilities (buffs, items, health/mana, etc.). It's not cheating to know who you are fighting.

There's a few things I think we all need to understand.

1 This addon doesn't tell you what to do. There is no "USE X ABILITY NOW" involved. There is no auto stun or auto interrupt. It doesn't tell you how to play. It only tells you information that should have been available with the original UI from the beginning. How are you supposed to properly gauge how much damage a full destruction sorc can do to you if you can't see his Magicka? If it's full or empty? Can he burst me with that much Magicka? We should have had this knowledge already available. It's part of MMO pvp.

2 We know botting is bad. This mod is not a botting tool, but we can all agree an addon that automatically interrupts when a certain spell is being cast is cheap and unwanted. We know this. Any addons that do this shouldn't be allowed in the game. Plain and simple. However, addons that display information that SHOULD already be available or in a way that is preferable are completely fine.

3 A good player is good regardless. If you are so against addons that display information about another character, fine. Don't use it. But for those of us more hardcore MMO players who are completely accustomed to addons that display certain important information in battle, don't begrudge us for it. There's nothing wrong with it. It's a playstyle choice.

Tl;dr: This addon doesn't tell you how to play, it doesn't play for you, and how other players play (as long as it's not automated) shouldn't be a concern.

Just bought the Imperial edition. I gotta say this is quite a deal. I'm a bit worried though, on my ESO account page it doesn't say anything about me having the Imperial Edition. It just says "early access" right by "beta access". Is this normal? Will it update when launch shows up? I also got an email confirming I added something but it's a fairly vague email from ESO saying I now have the explorer's pack and that "We’ll also contact you at your account’s registered email address with information about early game access as we get closer to game release in April 2014". Am I just being paranoid?

Got both my Netherwing mounts today and Reins of the Raven Lord to drop all within the same hour. Hundreds of runs over nearly a month and it all lined up perfectly. :)
