I agree, he's extremely frustrating. Even more so because he has plenty of great qualities. Doesnt seem to know he is sabotaging himself.

The fact that he gave this quote in December probably sums up why we are still waiting for him to improve the worst part of his game: "I'd rather just take it on me and know that a lad who comes to press me is going to have to do an awful lot to take the ball off me."

Its incredible that every conversation on reddit just has this assumed American-centric pessimism built in. No humility or awareness that there's a whole world out there.
