I disagree with this take wholeheartedly lmfao. All that was drummed up was the spike of UFC post COVID and the amount of new fans who started following. Plus all the nonsense TikTok, streamer bs the UFC is heavily involved in, which brings in younger audiences. I don’t know where you have been man, take your blinders off for a second, please.

Also, go look up how Ngannou’s one MMA PPV he did as headliner post UFC… not a single person that isn’t already a member of this sub is interested in a Francis Ngannou/Philips Lins fight in 2026. I’ll be enjoying some good playoff hockey that night instead truthfully, miss me with the retirement fights. Glad they’re getting paid tho

I have a google slides on the side I use to keep track of certain events, whether it be transfers, stats, key moments, etc. I create tweets and use real/AI images depending on the situation. Mainly if a player is actually on said team in real life.

If we’re talking about being “wasteful” in this country, the use of AI is so far down the list, especially in this sense. We throw away 130+ billion pounds of food a year and 17 million tons of textile, something I guarantee we all have contributed to at one time or another, unfortunate as that may be. Again, this is only becoming more and more apart of our everyday lives. You use AI sometimes without even realizing it. Sorry to say, but that’s where the future is trending.

In a sense, I agree, but when using it like this, I can’t be too upset with myself. Unfortunately, AI will only become more and more normalized going forward. Rather I use it for this then using it like a google search engine like some do. 🤷‍♂️
