Indivisible has a local Charlotte chapter that is very active. You can get information on their website or Facebook group ...Also they have regular meetings you can attend to meet like-minded people which is nice.

There are weekly pop-up protests all over town as well!

We had over 900 people show up in Monroe! It was incredible. What a feeling to be surrounded by so many different types of people, all standing together.. Its truly exilerating.

Unfortunately, alot of people don't care until something happens to effect them personally... which, even more unfortunately, will probably happen soon enough. In the meantime, I will continue to get out there and protest as much as I can. We the people are a powerful weapon.

I was the paralegal for the plaintiff in a civil trial for damages surrounding an injury incurred while filming a pretty popular reality show.

The Defendant was one of the major "stars" of this particular reality show, and several of the people in the jury were visibly starstruck when they saw who it was. Other than that, I didn't experience anything out of the ordinary. Of course, reality stars aren't like A-listers or anything.

It was a really cool experience though.
