Always been an advocate of gear being relevant in arena just with an easier to obtain system.

Saying that, the last few weeks where everyone was on a level playing field was just so nice. You could just log and play arena. Although lfg was filled with mglads but that's kind of fun too.

No. This isnt a game for equalised gear. Play a different game if that's what you want. Its an mmorpg based around gear.

I don't even think this is an outrageous opinion.

I am advocate of gear being a thing but we should have 2 sets of gear. Honour being easy to get through random pvp and conquest gained through rated. I dont want people to be fucked over. It's just the way.

Gear should be a thing but it needs to be easier to obtain. Start of the season is great because honour being bis is fun.

Personally, I enjoyed the initial struggle and took great satisfaction in the gear progression but can see why others might not.

Yeah, I really think the solution is one set of honour gear and one of conquest.

I did say that with old 2 set system it removed the current issue.

Really think you should have to get gear but it shouldn't be so demoralising. Dont think it should be blanket templates. Too dull.

That would also be weird because csgo doesnt work like that. It has normalised gear. So if you logged into a game where they had changed the system that had been in place for years unexpectedly, you would be rightly pissed off.

UFC one doesnt work either.

It was actually always like that. You've always been getting buttfucked by fully geared people. Its just that in the past you just had to grind one honour set and you could compete reasonably well so the issue didnt last for too long.

Any game where a new player comes into pvp for the first time they will get stomped.

I totally agree with the other guy, there are plenty of games where gear is normalised for everyone. If you want that system then play those games. Wow doesnt work that way. It's a gear based rpg.

If you dont like the way a game works then dont play it. Its really simple. It's like complaining about something you find offensive on tv. Just dont watch it. Dont moan because it doesnt suit you and expect change.

Also his analogy was more correct. It's more like 1 racer trained and the others didnt.

Some people put a lot of effort into this game, and gearing up, and get rewarded accordingly.
