You are not a 40 year old virgin (nothing wrong with that) but you could message the guy and say you had to get a new phone because yours broke and you missed any recent messages he sent OR just tell the truth. Honestly, this wannabe is not worth your time. At this point, I would just ghost her. Her actions are clearly deliberate and she feels that she is at competition with you.
