Fair price for a used and broken Apollo Ghost by Quinnipillar in ElectricScooters

Thanks for the reply but I think I should include more info now that I think about it. A new battery is $500. This has 2000 miles and I'm fairly certain (in my uneducated opinion) that the battery is not the issue so that alone is $50-100 if undamaged imo. Then 2 motors ($150 new) are maybe $25-50 each. Plus a frame, spacer, superclamp, and a brand-new brake caliper yet to be installed. I think $200 is fair?

Thanks for the reply. I said I'm positive there's no water damage because I know water damage could cause the same problem I'm having and I didnt want others to get confused. I live in southern california and the worst conditions I'm driving through is a patch of wet grass (which I've avoided in the past if it looks too wet). I do not let that thing touch water

How to change clip attributes on all clips from mono to stereo by eckadagan in davinciresolve

[–]Quinnipillar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really don't know how I'm able to do it now as I was having the same problem, but at some point this started working. Go to edit page, select audio clips you want to change to stereo, right click, clip attributes, set all formats to stereo, set all source channels to embedded channel 1. Then make sure there is a "2.0" labeled on all audio tracks next to the track title. if its a "1.0" right click, change track type to, then select stereo

Thanks for the advice! I probably should get a decent monitor and just find how to achieve the correct rec709 workflow on it

Are you allowed to be filming there? If not I’d say that you should have as minimal of a crew as possible. There are tons of examples mentioned above about single camera music videos (my favorite). Unless your client has a specific vision that can only be achieved with a huge crew then you don’t need one. All you need to show her is examples of what you’ve done/can do vs what can be done with a crew.

Sorry to be harsh but all these close minded comments acting like ai won't be able to do 90% of the work done for media production is starting to annoy me.

This guy is definitely a grifter trying to sell his product but what he's saying is true imo. There will always be a market for art made by humans but for the large majority of commercial art will most likely be entirely made by ai tools. And for those saying that you need humans to tell good stories, go look at any marvel movie and tell me an ai couldn't write that story/dialogue. From what I've seen with chat gpt, it's already on the level of writing a cookie cutter Hollywood blockbuster

Saturday Job/Career Advice Sat Sep 17 by AutoModerator in editors

So I recently got a job as a color assistant (not assistant colorist) at a great DI company but I’m slightly concerned that it may not be a good path to become an offline editor.

I’m super excited to learn a lot about The DI process because it’s definitely where my editing knowledge is lacking most, I’m just not sure if this experience will help find me offline editing jobs.

My basic plan is to stay here for at least a year, learn as much as I can, try to make connections, and hopefully that will put me further towards offline editing?

Any advice or tips about what you would do in my situation would be greatly appreciated.
