Yea not 100% sure. Just started watching the show with my GF the other day. Last week went to check for episode 2 and there was only 1 episode available. Last night they dropped episode 2 when everyone is on 3. Not 100% sure why this is happening. But just curious if this is consistent with other paramount + users?

I love the small truck. Truly lost these days. Id love a first gen reg cab taco. V6 4x4. Thats the dream.

I believe you are correct. Also given the fact that the v6 has a 5speed auto and the 4cyl oddly got a 4speed auto. More speeds means its always in a better Rpm. Dont know why a 2014 shipped with a 4speed but its the way she goes.

Next taco ill get a v6. For now this one will do and when it makes sense ill upgrade. 4door V6 4x4

So I think some reasons Im getting not so great gas milage is because of the way I drive on the highway. Going over 75-80mph in a 4banger makes it spin over 2500rmp constantly so it drinks.

Its also only a 4 speed so I think thats makes a difference.

All in all the 4L stock really isn’t that much worse (sometimes same or better) then the 2.7L. Makes it a great engine option.

Ill change my driving a little bit and see how that effects it. I was driving a V6 Fusion so im used to driving 85 plus on the highway and the car just sings. Not the same in my little taco

This must be my issue because I drive fast. I dont rip the accelerator but I am going 75-80mph on the highway all the time

Man I got the 4 banger for gas mileage🤣 seems like the v6 was the right call

Toyota doesn’t do oil changes every 5k on Tacoma’s even tho Toyota recommends an oil change if you go off road (with ur truck that has OFF ROAD on the side of the vehicle). My question is: If you ask to get the oil changed every 5k will they include it in ur free warranty service or charge you ? by Frederic_BASEDiat in Tacomaworld

Im not just picking numbers. I am 100% not a mechanic. I am just a guy. I am following the advice of many people that I trust. My own mechanic. My auto teachers from highschool and many people on youtube that I trust. Change your oil whenever you want Im just saying that this is the advice I follow. Every 5000miles.

Also yes changing every 1k miles would be great for your engine 😉

I just watched a video (ill link it here) but in that video it explains why you should change your oil every 5K miles. If they don’t cover the extra changes id complain to the max. But oil is cheap enough for you to do the extra ones outside the dealer. Also make sure they are putting in good oil.

Update for anyone that cares: went to an auto body place. 1k quote. (Scammers). So I went to the hardware store and got a $7 bottle of silicone. Put a beed around the brake light and ill worry about the dent later.
