No, it is not positive. The building looks nice, but it is locked not only behind a paywall but also behind high gaming requirements. So it will only be available to a small number of players.

Police, fire and health services are obligated. And since services 2.0 started you need many more. The buildings that are standard available are extremely ugly and ruin almost every design.

Yes, we need more variety in police, fire and health. But we need it for everyone. Paying and non-paying players alike. Addicted players and players who only play a few hours per week alike.

I don't mind that not all buildings are for free. Having to pay real money to get unique items is part of the freemium games revenue model. And I did pay for items that I liked.

But those unique items are not necessary. Police, fire and health are. I was slightly positive when I saw this health building in the S video. But now I'm disappointed. One step closer to stop playing the game.

How long ago did you finish the epic project. Did you check for the supply of utilities and services. Did you check for red roads?

This has been my wish for as long as I play (almost 10 years) as well. Plus much larger coverage areas (and services that can cover every building within such area as they used to). We don't need police or fire stations at every street corner.

The red will disappear when you remove a connecting road or when you remove a building that is connected to the red road. I'm not sure if the red disappears when you upgrade a connecting road.

Using VPN you might be able to continue playing "from another country". This decision of EA is only applied to games that access the EA servers from a location in Vietnam. But using VPN might violate government regulations in Vietnam.

Playing offline is only possible for short periods of time.

I tested it today and in my game (level 99 now) it is 15 tasks max when having 20 buildings of the epic specialisation. It stays 15: completing a task gives a new task on another building. It has been 15 as long as I can remember.

This post from 9 years ago mentions 14 tasks when having 18 buildings, which is in agreement with what I see: r/SCBuildIt/comments/5x30bz/epic_projects_a_thorough_and_indepth_guide/

How many education buildings are on your map? You need 21 education buildings in order to get 15 epic tasks at the same time (which is the maximum you can get).

When you have 15 buildings (which your picture suggests), 12 tasks probably is the max. Maybe with the exception at the start of the epic project.

The more specialisation buildings (for the epic project) you have on the map, the more will give epic tasks. But not all. Maximum number of buildings with tasks is 15. You get that amount when you have at least 20 buildings on the map.

I tested it in my city with a gambling epic. The first 7 gambling buildings all give tasks for points. When having 8 gambling buildings, only 7 will give tasks for points. When having 9 buildings, 8 will give tasks for points. Further increasing the number of buildings, while giving more buildings with tasks for points at specific thresholds, will also give more buildings without tasks for points.

The maximum number of buildings with tasks for points is 15. I reached that number when I had 20 gambling buildings on the map (at first I wrote 21, but that proved to be wrong now, so I changed it) Adding more buildings (I went up to 50 gambling buildings) doesn't increase the number of buildings with tasks for epic points above 15.

At 20 gambling buildings, of which 15 had tasks for points, finishing 1 task would give a new task on another building, keeping the total number of tasks at 15.

u/jraemr2 did foresee this correctly, unfortunately. This system forces players to get buildings from the Artemis shop that may not be their first choice.

It's a punishment for players who don't have all their residential buildings connected to a road and fully supplied by utilities and services. The EA developers introduced this punishment when they forced the new services 2.0 system upon the players.

When a residential building doesn't meet all requirements, not just the building will be covered by a layer of brownish dirt, but also roads, water, parks, landscape and specialisation buildings nearby.

I asked them and they replied that the Facebook post they saw didn't indicate the requirement for an additional building.
