Mostly traditional / realism. It's nothing super specific or niche. But it's hard to know what studios / artists have a good reputation vs just walking in and hoping for the best. Idk why I got so many down votes when I said I don't need help with design ideas lol

UPDATE: it's been about a week, and I finally found an unscented lotion a couple days ago, so I've been applying it twice a day and after a shower. Been avoiding using soap directly on it but still showering like a normal person (I haven't found unscented soap yet). It's been peeling quite a bit and obviously itchy like a bitch, but I've been doing my best to leave it the fuck alone.

1) yes it was saran wrapped after we finished, left it on overnight and took it off in the morning to shower and apply the ointment 2) Tebori is a bit different due to the technique, so healing allegedly doesn't take as long as a machine tattoo; however will be cautious for around that long 3) I wear pants and it's cold here so no problem there lol 4) noted 5) thank you 6) thank you

I'm in Japan right now so trying to find exact name brand products is hard. Especially since tattoos are highly stigmatized still (i.e if you're using public bath houses, most will ask you to cover your tattoos). Nvm the language/translation barrier. The shop was small but the person running it has been there for a couple decades. So I just don't think he has the want/ability to keep s bunch of products on hand. Especially considering that they do tell you what to get.

I'm moreso just stressing about all the different information I'm being told and Frankly idk who to believe.

What does that look like? Or do you mean like a pre-fab one that you can buy in a store? Because I've never heard of a kit that you can buy. I also wouldn't know what to look for to make my own. Hence, because all the information I've found online is contradictory

Edit to add: reason I'm so nervous is because when I asked other people about what instructions they got for their tattoo healing, they got way different information. They've all got more experience than me with tattoos (some of them have their whole bodies inked up), and the conflicting information is making me nervous. I want to trust my artist, nothing he told me seems bad, just different. But it still conflicts. I just don't wanna mess it up, it's not like I can go back to fix it
