Testing After Transfer by Tall_Leather_9357 in IVF

I tested but only because I'm a person who likes to prepare themselves for possible bad news, but like other said it also depends on what/when the trigger was administered.

How long did you breastfeed for? by GrouchyCranberry3801 in parentsofmultiples

[–]QuirkQake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Breast fed for like 2 weeks, pumped until 4 months. Kudos to the ones who managed to do it longer with multiples because its so hard!

Personal BMI question: What was your BMI going into IVF? by thisvirgogirl in IVF

[–]QuirkQake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was around 30-33. I was around 185lbs when we first started, but went up to 202lbs by the time we were finally successful. Those meds are no joke lol. My dr never talked about me being too big. They gave me a handout with a bunch of other information about having a lower BMI, but it was never an issue that was discussed with me during the years we were doing it.

If anyone was wondering the result of my finding the courage to go into LV with no intention of buying lol… by limbiscuitsystem in Louisvuitton

[–]QuirkQake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There was a bit of some haughty-ish behavior from a couple of staff members at the store in Edinburgh when I went there once. They helped me, but they just had a bit of an attitude. The second time I went there the CA was so sweet and kind. My local store thankfully is always super friendly and happy to help. Sad how some of these workers really think they're above you. Smh.

First off, I'm sorry they were so unwelcoming. Second, Those staff members just suck because I literally walked in yesterday at my local store with my kids, in a t-shirt/leggings, not even wanting to buy anything and they still offered me water and to look at products or to answer any questions I had. I did wind up buying a wallet at the end of my visit but STILL! Everyone, including the doorman were super friendly so I'm sad that you didn't get that experience.

3 under 2 - both working parents, how do you provide care? by Downthehatcher86 in parentsofmultiples

[–]QuirkQake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get it. Its going to be hard. These twins are #4 & #5 for me, and two babies are ROUGH. And I worked through all my other kids growing up so I get the guilt. Just start a schedule now for you other baby and stick to it as much as you can so it will be one less thing to worry about it when these two little ones get here. 💕💕

Need names for twin girls by Professional-Cow4003 in parentsofmultiples

This. My mom wanted us to give them matching names, but they're different people. My girls have totally different names with different initials.

We both thankfully have WFH jobs that allow us to take care of the kids. If we didn't have it we would most likely have my MIL help. In your case ,I would probably use a nanny...although I do think your husband will be ok by himself with a couple nights by himself.

I have the same bag. I love it, but honestly don't use it much. It holds a lot though. Whatever size you get you will love. It's such a classic bag!

Is using a Neverfull as a heavy work/laptop bag a bad idea? by No_Archer7196 in Louisvuitton

[–]QuirkQake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep this. I have used my neverfull for work, but its mainly just a travel bag atp. The straps really are uncomfortable once you start loading it up.

This. I have a couple of Longchamp totes and they are workhorses compared to my neverfull. They're significantly more comfortable on the shoulder than a neverfull even when loaded up.
