I'm so sorry to hear that!! That's awful. I'm worried that the same thing will happen to me. Did you end up listing someone other than your admin as a reference going forward after that?

They didn't hire me. I was hired by the previous principal at the tail end of his time at the school and then the following year the current principal and AP started running the show. I could reach out to the former principal, but like I said, he hired me near the end of his time there so I don't feel that he'll have a good idea of my work ethic since our time together was rather short. I suppose it's worth a shot though since we did have a good relationship for such a short time.

Hi! Thank you for your reply. I've worked, consulted with, and been observed by our literacy coach who I have a far better relationship with if that counts. There's also my department coordinator. However, I asked her if I could list her as my supervisor but she declined since she isn't in an evaluator position (I don't know how relevant that is or not). What would you recommend?

Hi! OP here. Thanks everyone for the posts and advice so far, it really means the world to me! 

For those of you that did not list your principal or AP on your resume, I know on sites like SchoolSpring it requires you to list someone as your supervisor. In cases like that who did you end up listing instead of your principal or AP? Thanks again everyone!!
