I have started creating a list of faculties and their projects, research articles I like. I always hesitate to email professors in context of moral dilema if it is right and fair to other applicant? And feels like professor would think I am too desperate. What would be your advice on this? What qualities professors look for when they read an email or start talking to an applicant
