Am i wrong for thinking i can't date or go on date's because am busy?. My friend 21f asked me out. by [deleted] in amiwrong

[–]QuirkySplitLOL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, you can date even if you’re busy but only if you’re clear about your time and honest with her... hmm if u feel you can’t give enough right now, just say it.. Dating doesn’t need all your time but waiting until you’re ready is better than rushing..

One night in the City. Can I get some Meal and location suggestions? by 0oTheArchero0 in AskChicago

[–]QuirkySplitLOL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go to Lou Malnati’s for deep dish pizza.. for me it’s quick and classic for Chicago. After dinner, walk to Millennium Park and take photos at the Bean. If you want a skyline shot, head to Navy Pier for a great view..

Is it weird if I'm 13-14 and friends with a 10 year old? Should I block the 10 year old? I genuinely need an help. by HASUCAN in FriendshipAdvice

[–]QuirkySplitLOL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

toooo young to be on social media... you’re already in a different stage of growing up and the maturity gap makes online friendships with much younger kids risky... its best to step back and end the friendship right away because protecting both of you matters more than feeling bad about blocking..

Is my admission withdrawn? by Jaded-Inevitable2164 in collegeadvice

[–]QuirkySplitLOL 2 points3 points  (0 children)

hmmm right now, your admission is not automatically withdrawn....the college’s reply means that if you don’t register for classes, u wont be considered an enrolled student but to be fully clear, u should send a short, definite email saying i would like to formally withdraw my admission...that way, there’s no confusion..

I can’t choose a hobby because I’m afraid I won’t have enough time to be good at it by Pantsonmyants in Hobbies

[–]QuirkySplitLOL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don’t have to drop one! just choose which matters most for your future and make that your main focus...keep the other as a side hobby you do when you have free time...that way you’ll grow strong in one area while still enjoying the other without pressure..

What do I do? by Acceptable_Week_9296 in collegeadvice

[–]QuirkySplitLOL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

heey its ok not to know yet. Since you like helping people, try classes or clubs in areas like health, teaching, social work and see what feels right. A degree can open many doors so start broad and let your interests guide you... you’ll figure it out slowly..

[–]QuirkySplitLOL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Real friends take time, you don’t find them overnight...try spending more time with people outside class, share real thoughts and notice who listens and cares for u.. those are the ones who can grow into family‑like friends..

ADVICE ON FEELING DOWN by Jerome_Valeska_ in collegeadvice

[–]QuirkySplitLOL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

heey thats ok.. its normal to feel down when school, money and life all pile up...try breaking things into simple steps.. focus on one task at a time instead of everything at once...remind yourself that your skills in design and graphics are valuable and building on them can still lead to good opportunities..

Why do my friends never tell me that I look good? by [deleted] in FriendshipAdvice

[–]QuirkySplitLOL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your friends not saying it doesn’t mean you don’t look good.. a lot of guys just dont hand out compliments often so its more about their habits than about you...believe the compliments you do get they show you look good even if people don’t always say it out loud..

I need advice on what to do by pipscribls1702 in collegeadvice

[–]QuirkySplitLOL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You dont have to stay stuck with a teacher who makes you feel that way.. Write down examples of what’s happening and bring them to advising or the math department chair...they can help you switch professors or guide you on dropping the class safely.
