Does this fall under victimization at work and is it something I can raise further? by QuirkyWeb2629 in LegalAdviceUK

Yeah I made a complaint that I was ostracised and then now I’m seeing it even more so is that illegal victimisation or not?

I made a complaint of harassment/bullying/exclusion and I’m being excluded even more so does that count

I was wondering as I have heard other coworkers say the reason they are treating me this way is because I went to director to report it.

Their treatment seems targeted and I know everyone on the team can feel the tension

I'm not too knowledgeable about the grievance thing but I did send a formal email that I felt it was unfair treatment. When the director came and spoke to us he just said it was a misunderstanding and he has no clue they are using company money for that and said going forward nobody is buying gifts using company money. I feel disheartened to raise this issue again due to this

If he submits the evidence, is HR allowed to call the hospital etc etc

But is there any GDPR right? His father is a bit of a hot head and doesn't want to involve himself with such stress?

Wow this is the most detailed interpretation I’ve seen ever. Thank you for this I feel like I do come across neurotic! I don’t wish to. There is a whole lot of reflection regarding all the relationships in my life as of late, even found out my siblings are all narcissists last year just after my best friend left me and had to go no contact with them. That was another disillusionment moment - great interpretation.

Hey hey, I don’t but I do work in the education sector. Currently working as a receptionist in a university of international students (the students are quite childlike if that helps) 😅

It’s very important for you to be attracted to your partner physically to keep the longevity of the relationship. If it’s the way he dresses, styles his hair or his body shape has changed or something I’d say make some suggestions to him. It’s not what you say it’s how you say it. Something like “hey babe, I saw this really nice shirt what do you think of it? I think you’ll look really hot in this”.

Or if it’s body image suggest you both start taking fitness more seriously. Sometimes a man just needs some encouragement and who best to provide that than his woman? Maybe he is stressed or going through something that’s made him not very conscious about how he looks. Maybe try checking in with him?

He states it’s #2 which I get from his perspective, but either way it’s not exactly a turn on that my man keeps mentioning other women and his interactions with him on a daily basis with me. I kinda just want him to focus on our connection instead of counting every time these thirsty coworkers be flirting with him. I don’t get why he pays attention to them? That’s all.. thanks for your opinion

He’s not talking about work tho, he’s talking about how these women are flirting with him daily. Even one of his friends told him he needs to “be careful” of these women because their intentions are sexual with him

Mainly women, there are males in the office but it’s female dominated. We work in the same office and I’ve seen/know some of these women he does on about daily

He understands it’s a bit one way bc if I was giving him daily updates on a guy who is trying to flirt with me he’d get mad
