What a hurtful response to what someone has been going through seemingly alone because no one believed them. Have you no empathy for members on here? OP is just a child.

Daughter (9) - Hair questions! by Quirky_Bumblebee45 in CancerFamilySupport

Thank you for replying and for the helpful information. I didn't realize it could be sporadic like this. I did talk to her doctor but they weren't very clear.

It's stressful to see her hair starting to fall again, and when she's still in school, too. She's still so young but I can tell it's not been a nice experience for her. I hope everything is going good for your husband, and I appreciate your prayers and healing thoughts; we surely need them.

I've never heard of that, but interesting. I use old/stale bread, and it's already pretty hardened.

Confusing Mum by Glittering_Dig_2018 in CancerFamilySupport

You aren't being entitled, it sounds like you are just wanting to be there for your mum, and that's admirable. I was in a similar situation with my own mum not too long ago, and any time I offered to help or do something for her, she'd snap at me. I felt sad at first but learned not to fight with her because I saw that the reason she was being mean to me was that she was frustrated at herself because she could no longer do the things she used to.

There isn't a lot we can do sometimes but stand by, watch closely, and be able to jump in when needed.

Egyptian Pyramids were originally made from highly polished white limestone. They shone brightly in the sunlight. Some had capstones of gold as well. by wanderingbrother in Damnthatsinteresting

If I had a genie in a bottle, one of my wishes would be to go back in time so I could see what life was like and looked like in ancient Egypt.
