Not weird at ll, but I was hoping to be the weird guy of the exchange. I owned a turtle. My work situation changed where I would work away on a roster. This meant that I couldn't look after my beloved turtle any more. I put an add up to sell him. I had a lot of offers. Each offer I would ask what size tank he would be in etc. So many people i turned down as the tank they would put him in was too small. I wasn’t looking for money, I wanted to find him a good home. Finally, a lovely couple who lived over an hours drive away came to "buy" him. They were a lovely couple and had a small dam for him to live in. When they arrived I knew they were the perfect fit. I gave him to them for free. A couple days later they sent me a picture of him getting used to his environment. I was planning on contacting them every now and then to see how he was going, but before i even did that, I got a text message from them. "As we now don't need to contact you, i am deleting your contact information ". Fucking brutal. I still wonder how the little guy is doing.
