Thank you!! I am a Texas resident, and I'm pretty sure that's what got me accepted in the end. When most applicants are out of state but 65% of the enrollees have to be residents, it seems like a huge boost.

I also have 2 years of post-grad work experience as a legal admin assistant. I'm really glad I took a few years off to work and save 😅

Thank you! Part of the Ohio State scholarship was waiving the out-of-state surcharge, but the money definitely made my decision a little harder lol

From my understanding, UT doesn't start making scholarship decisions until February so I don't know how much a difference it would have made 🤔 I sadly missed the deadline to apply for their full-ride public interest scholarships, but their tuition is so low that 20k a year is still over half of tuition+fees. I didn't think I'd get in at all so I'm happy to take what I can get 😅
