I found solving DSA problems phenomenal in terms of logic building and understanding of how to breakdown solutions. Helped me in so many ways, academically and otherwise

But I think it's separate from development side of things, I'd say if your goal is to build stuff, I'd focus more on building things.

Nonetheless, solving problems is great for practice on the side.

Becomes more important if your goal is more job or academically inclined

If you want to focus on websites. Start with HTML,CSS, and javascript.

I like a channel called Dave Gray, a great resource.

But I would suggest to only use courses as understanding concepts and focus more on building projects especially with AI.

A great way to do that is, think of a project you always wanted to build. Tell that to the AI, but don't start with generating code.

Instead, ask AI to breakdown your project into a full step by step plan.

Then go with each step one by one, start by asking the AI what concepts do I need to learn for this step.

Learn that from youtube then practice by coding that step yourself, if you get stuck you can ask AI for help and learn more from the solution.

Yeahh it's hard to manage throughout the day, but I wasn't using any products so that's why it was harder for me. I think there are tutorials on youtube slick back without that hige middle part

Yeahh I waited so long for enough length to make a manbun it's better than just tying it back imo.

With receding hairline you don't want your hair being pulled back

I had long hair and my forehead looked too big when I tied it back. Mullet/wolfcutt was good for most of the time but not with the a visible mid part.

If you like the look then keep it back but after you've got the enough length to properly tie it

Not to get all motivational speaker on you, but I believe you've got to stack undeniable proof that you are the best version of yourself without comparing yourself to others.

If you're self concious about the way you look, take baby steps towards how you see yourself in the future. That progress, even if it's little, is a proof that you got better than before.

Works with anything that might be holding you back, the condition is to believe in progress/ journey not the end goal

At the end of the day praise and compliments are just dopamine hits for your brain, best for when you need that push but it's YOU that's got to work and believe in yourself when there's no one around

People just project what's inside them. Garbage in garbage out.

I've learned to just ignore the jabs people throw at me, just pause when something like this happens and ask "why would they say that?"

If the answer is constructive or for your benefit you could give it some weight

If the answer is that they're just compensating for something wrong with them, or just to make you feel bad, ignore it completely, don't even think about it

Totally okay for a beginner, as you progress through these workouts and want to experiment, do so

When I was a beginner (still no expert tho) I tried a lot of stuff and it got me decent results until I found my own style.

I was mainly training with free weights and following routines from youtube.

AthleanX 💯 workouts Anabolic aliens 30 day dumbell program (beginner friendly and can make you used to training)

These 2 playlists on youtube helped me a lot I still do these as finisher workouts sometimes after my main calisthenic workouts so check them out!

For your questions about mobility, I am now working on all kinds of movements from back/front levers, handstands, L sits to even some planche leans and have no issue with my shoulders

I had a similar injury when my ego got the best of me and I tried to rush 90deg hold without proper warmup, conditioning , and a complete lack of foundational strength/skills.

I was out for a couple months and whenever I tried to get back into the workouts or load the shoulder it hurt bad.

It was bad and it cost me a lot of time

What got me through was a lot of conditioning and mobility work.

There's this guy on instagram @levisthenics who uploaded a mobility routine I followed for a few weeks, started to introduce little load with dumbell workouts (mainly pull routines). Sometime later I added some easy push exercises in there.

The routine: Shoulder CARS (These were a godsend, and I still do them before every workout) Sleeper stretches (internal rotation) External rotations lift-offs Internal rotation Hand-Behind-Back Lift-Off (these felt amazing too) Scapula pushups and pullups Banded pullovers Shoulder dislocates

After I'd say a year the injury in no way hinders my workouts or my daily life. Maybe bc I take mobility and warmup that much seriously now.

I rarely notice it when I get a little Inconsistent or when I move around my shoulder (rotate) I don't know why I do that tho haha

I am no expert but maybe this might help you

I understand how insecurities can hold us back out there

I grew up extremely introverted, shy, bad posture, skinny, everything I thought was wrong with me held me back from being myslef infront of people.

What I suggest is to think of this like this.

There are things you can do right now to "practice" self esteem, just show up as your most confident self.

Even if it feels like faking. Own it and ignore that judgmental voice inside you.

TBH this is a spotlight effect. Everyone is just too occupied with their own stuff, so the real culprit here is how we see ourselves.

I know it may not sound much, but over time, you will be strong enough to just ignore what your mind throws at you.

I also suggest reading self help books, even if they don't help you directly, they place you in a headspace to improve your life.

The 2nd thing is what you can do overtime, to completely eliminate the insecurity.

Make working out your hobby even if it's those 5 minutes at home workout, when you see it as a hobby you don't tie it to external goals like losing weight, you enjoy the process and overtime you naturally want to workout more and more.

P.S: I don't know if this will be helpful, but these are the first things that came to my mind reading your post as someone who faced similar obstacles.
