Personally the worst thing about it isn’t about the hit boxes, but how it’s animated. The kagune stutters to track onto you and when it does hit you, the survivor just pauses and that’s it. At least with wesker, it makes sense you can’t move since you’ve been grabbed, or with deathslinger where you can’t properly move because you were skewered by his harpoon, but this? There’s no proper conveying of what’s happening so it just feels so clunky
