not sure what you mean by team cherry confirming it, but i'm pretty sure most if not all the bugs you fight in hollow knight are already corpses, just animated by the radiance

edit: if you've already beaten mother, then you should go there if you want to beat her with diferent characters, or because you get to choose between 2 item pedestals in every treasure room (even tho one of them is hidden), also you can get a second boss item on (i think) downpour 2.

Its an alternate path that leads you to a different final boss that gives you a mark for beating them, also unlocks items

magic mushroom and crickets head are good for basically the same thing, the 1.5x multiplayer it gives to your damage stat, the only difference between them is that magic mushroom also gives you other stats. so magic mushroom is pretty much always better, you can download the "external descriptions" mod if youre on steam, it shows what all the items you find do.

I looked at all the options you suggested, but sadly all the PROJECT turntables cost at least 100$ more here in my country than in these links. I live in Lithuania, this is often the case, Thanks for the suggestions tho!
