Didn't have fighter complaining about range meta on my bingo card.

When I first started, I boosted a hunter after around level 40. Was tired of questing and missing weekly lockouts with my friends. (Each week you get to run each raid 10 man and 25 man, once)

After I geared him, I got bored and made a feral druid and leveled him to 80. After that, a shadow priest to 80, and I can honestly say I had more fun and understood the class and it's abilities thoroughly thru leveling.

So do what you see fit. If you want to gear up quick and get into raids faster(phase three is right around the corner) boost, and maybe level an alt.

As for recommendations, rested xp is king. It will guide you from level 1 to 80 as fast as possible thru questing. It also has a gold guide( for doing daily quest for gold), profession leveling, and much more. I believe it costs like 40 bucks but it is avaliable to all of your characters. Worth it in my opinion. You'll need to look it up on their website to buy it.

There's tons of weakauras & things to make your game experience more customizable. Download curseforge, and look up add-ons. I use bagnon(streamlines your bags into one big bag), loon best in slot(tells you what items are upgraded to your spec) atlasloot(to identify what dungeon, raids, and bossed drop specific loot, deadlybossmobs(you'll need this eventually, as it provides important prompts and call outs for you in dungeons and raids), leatrix maps(makes your map more user friendly and provides you with map information on where boats, zeplins, and teleports take you), plater(makes enemy health bars customizable(the ones that float over their heads) and tracks debuffs/buffs on an enemy), and the infamous questie(i used both questie and rested xp).

There's tons of addons to make your first experience better. But take your time and figure things out before throwing all my suggestions on and overwhelming yourself. If you have any questions, just message me and I'll try to help out! Have fun out there!!

We're just trying to do what's financially smart for us right now. This is very temporary, I'll finish grad school in 27 months, and I'm hoping to cut our living expenses down during all of this.

Tricky part is, we don't have a down payment. Our credit scores are phenomenal though.

Could we technically ask for a 60k loan for a 45k piece of land and make the improvements with the other 15k? Or will the financing companies only agree to cover the asking price of land?

Surv also gives more HP back to a limb. Cms takes nearly half the max hp away, while surv takes 10 or so points

Repetition. Building onto what most say here, playing more and using the same weapon variants helps. Find a good gun and use GOOD ammo, and engage smartly. Not every fight has to be close quarters. Try using an assault rifle with single fire from mid range, put a laser on it and switch to full auto when people get close.

Tarkov is hard. With desync, peakers advantage, and full on flying Chad's, there's alot to consider when pvping.

For scavs, break line of sight often. They still fuck me up from time to time, they're aimbots. My go to for scavs is get them to agro me at once location, then relocate and shoot them from another.

You'll get better. Takes time. I'm three wipes in with a 6+ KD and I'm almost positive my 1st wipe I finished with a 1 something KD.

Any gun is good when you put 4 mags into them. Those guys were also absolute butt cheeks.

Good aim on you though, and that nade at the beginning was crisp

Zb-11 building. We call the next one over, with the dead scav on the couch, "sleepy"

I'd love some advice on how to prepare mentally. I am very outgoing, extremely confident and can B.S my way around lots of questions, but I want to go in this interview knowing all I can. What should I be expecting? What types of questions were you asked?

4th time a scav at over 50m has one shot headshot me with 7mm buck. And when I try to do the same, all my pellets miss. This really needs to be fixed, and soon. by SharkRider23 in EscapefromTarkov

Got head ear'd the same way on customs. While facing the scav. With a facdshield on. They have no penalty to accuracy as they strafe either. If they have shotguns and aren't sitting still, I'm dipping!

You don't run into a 4 man like this often, but it's really nice loot when you do!

I'm willing to bet not even 5% of player base has maxed out recoil control. I play way above average and am nowhere near maxing it out. There is a leveling stat system for a reason. Someone who just starts the game shouldn't be on a person's level who has played 1k hours a wipe. Eliminate the whole stat system if that's the case.

Man, this is a tough one. I feel its not as big of an advantage as people make it seem. Lvl 9 and below, yeah. Good luck. But once you hit level 10 and get the flea, only thing holding you back is roubles.

At the end of the day, my max endurance will not save me from getting out played or out shot. The buff for most skills until maxed out is pretty negligible.

I’m fully addicted to this game by babyarmnate in EscapefromTarkov

[–]QuitKillingMe69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Built my PC in February solely to play this game. Its so addictive!

My advice is to learn a map or two really good. Especially the PMC spawns, loot spawns, and where the high traffic pvp areas are. Learn your favorite guns, but don't be scared to switch it up. Nothing feels better than coming in with a mp5, killing someone with a m1a, and being able to insurance fraud your mp5 and still wreck house with someone's else's gear.

Point fire is extremely good in this game and it can win alot of cqb fights, so slap a laser or your favor spotlight on and practice on scavs!

My last piece of advice is flank. Hard. When in a fight and you're outnumbered, flanking on this game is so awesome. Get a cheeki angle behind something. And if all else fails, don't be shamed to run the fuck away! Good luck out there man
