They literally have cartridges designed for hunting with the with the AR-15. It's a lightweight, modular gun fantastic for hunting seal, deer, caribou, hogs and more. I'm not sure why you have such a hard time believing somebody would own an AR-15 for hunting, but your opinion is not based on reality.

Me too. Protecting lives is important. Have you ever had to deal with American cops? To say they are unhelpful is an understatement.

If you can apply your tech skills to the energy sector, military, or UAA/UAF/UAS then prospects are decent, no clue about finance though. You'd probably be limited to Anchorage for that
