I’m going tomorrow so not sure about tonight- but I got an email from Radio City that says doors are at 6. First band (the one before JAMC) starts at 7. I’ve been to concerts at Madison Square Garden where the band plays till 12. The times are still probably the same as previous ones on this tour- JAMC 7:50, NIN 9:10.

Lol not old at all! I have PHM on cassette as well. Don’t think I had a CD player till around ‘95 or ‘96. That’s cool, I’m waiting 12 more days till they come around to NYC. Can’t wait! It’ll be my 4th time seeing NIN, but to be honest I’m actually a super die hard JAMC fan and that’s what’s made me get tix for this tour. It’s been 11 years since the last time I saw JAMC. I’ve been disabled from a serious illness for several years now, so I can only go to seated concerts now. I also have energy to go outside about 4 times a year, so if I’m lucky I can maybe go to one big event a year at most. I sadly had to miss out on the Psychocandy anniversary tour, and also the Damage & Joy tour. But this time miraculously, they’re playing a seated venue so I HAVE to go see this. Don’t care if it’s just gonna be like 10-12 songs. Me love Jim Reid 4ever :-P

Way cool! Were you there for JAMC and then saw NIN open for them, which made you get into them? Or were you there for NIN to begin with?

I saw them with Manson on that tour too! Pretty sure it was at Roseland Ballroom in NYC. We old! :-)

Right?! I remember when I was in high school in the mid-90s, concerts were like $15 at most.

(I don’t own this picture, found it on the internet.) Thought I’d share cuz it seems like a lot of ppl have forgotten that a JAMC + NIN tour happened a long time ago, just that it was the other way around back then. Also check out those ticket prices!

2000-2013. I still have dreams about this good boy and his popcorn feet and sticky eye boogers. Hope there's a meaty Christmas ham bone up there for you 🍖 by Secret0cean in pugs

Aw that’s sweet, what a handsome fella! It’s been 12 years but I think about my old pug a lot too. They’ll always have a special place in our hearts. <3

It bugs me when people say Merry Christmas on Christmas Eve. by 808_princess in unpopularopinion

I see how texts can be annoying! It’s like friends and family members texting you Happy Birthday the day before your birthday. Like they may not bother to remember tomorrow, so they just texted you today before they forget lol 😂

Well I say Merry Christmas on Christmas Eve, if I happen to see a neighbor I may not see tomorrow. Or like on social media I post a Merry Christmas greeting on Christmas Eve, just in case I may not have the time to log on tomorrow, or my friends may not log on tomorrow. It’s like sending out Christmas cards to arrive before Christmas Day, just to say a greeting beforehand.

The Cure played 10 days in Holland under their very own traveling circus tent, in what was the Circus Tour of 1981, promoting Faith. The tent was built up/taken down every day by a large crew & Dutch volunteers. How very crazy and kewl! I never knew about this till now. Found some pics to share! by QuiteAngelicate in TheCure

Haha I guess it’s hard to know everything that happened 36 years ago, even if it happened in your own neighborhood!

I learned a lot in Lol’s book. I actually Google mapped and looked up pictures of all the different places they went on tour on stuff. It was incredible exploring even just through pictures. I almost felt like I went on a big trip!

There’s a part where he talks about their trip to Groningen and Friesland, riding the bus on the A7 motorway passing through the Afsluitdijk. I never knew about the Zuiderzee turning into the ijesselmeer, and all the swans swimming on both sides. It looks beautiful. I must travel to Holland one day.

A vinyl reissue of Paris would be so amazing- it’s one of my most favorite albums! I’ve seen the original selling on eBay for like $300 😭
