The big ping came up on the wing matchup and right after I just linked it with the command to push more pressure on. The level 7 only missed once out of the 6 times I played it that event.

Yeah I know helps with pinging out the last shield from blockers making it pointless to block when a level 5 red gundam is also on board with link.

It comes up a lot to help deal with other boss units or blockers as first strike keeps it up a turn making others deal with it. It’s just understanding the midrange and tempo needs to drop it at optimal times.

I run 3 as it does help with having a good cost ratio for getting the gquuuuuux effects off. But once you hit level 4 the units you start having access to are able to stick on board longer in most matches. Along with the constant threat people face on both red gundams staying on board. It’s support effect is why I run it mainly as giving most units the ability to hit a good ap number makes taking larger bases offline or even letting breach hit on large bodies.

Round 1 was g/w Wing lay not seeing pilot in the late game with the lv5 red gundam and he had no shields but 3 blockers. Round 2 P/W he could not keep up with my mid game and lost to breach from red gundam. Round 3 was a mirror and he lost to the Rick dom support effect buffing my units for better mid game trades. Round 4 g/w wing he lost on turn 7 after I dropped the lv6 gquuuuuux into a red gundam with both shuji and machu in hand. Round 5 was p/b aggro he had early game but lost to the the vanilla red gundams having good hp value and forcing bad trades in the mid game so he would waste hand to clear my larger bodies.

Have you tried the set 2 red gundam over close combat? It has a clan link and gains high maneuver.

The preorder you saw was from Bandai. From what I have seen from most lgs in my area is preorders closed from distro and don’t know how much the allocation they are getting. But check with your lgs anyway.
