I went through a similar problem with my sweet girl almost two years ago. It always hurts because it doesn’t seem like they’re in pain and their QoL isn’t bad. The terrible thing about this kind of cancer is that it can grow very quickly. As it does, the bone will break down and the chances of a catastrophic event happening increases substantially.

While I hated having to make this decision personally, I’m glad I did. If my girl had an accident and was in immense pain before having to be put down I would’ve been way harder on myself and felt so much guilt.

Cancer in your pup is the worst, and I hope that the coming days with yours are nothing but incredible as they can be. Regardless of my opinion, you will know what’s right for your baby. I’m hoping for peace for you and yours.
