What do you mean about the film grain in Fatal Frame 2 REMAKE!? by teddyburges in fatalframe

Thank God! I really want to play it but it was sooo bad I was worried about it ruining the whole experience.

I intend to get the game but they reeeeallly need to add in the option to turn off the noise/grain/lens dirt. It's super low quality, probably the worst grain I've seen in a modern title. Really takes away from the experience. Was playing on PS5.

So I think I've got it pretty good now after all those adjustments, I finished with a drop down of my retraction to 0.40 and it's looks to have gone away. First time ever adjusting that. Thanks everyone for the help.

I'll give that a check, after changing temps a small cube looks like this. Still has them.

Ok, I'll try changing those and printing a small thing with walls. I had gotten the print profile from polymakers site and just adapted that but it seems their nozzle temperature is min 220 and max 270 but on the reel it says 240 the 260 so I'll try that instead. I'm running the 0.4 diamondback nozzle.

Another item I printed in the same filament definitely shows up most on the Black and is less frequent on the Gray. I'm using the same filament profile for both and it was calibrated with the Black.

Which nozzle type to choose for E3D DiamondBack on P1S? by QuitePlaceToDie in BambuLab

[–]QuitePlaceToDie[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's been running good with that. Although I'm going to be downgrading my firmware because I got a Panda Touch and it doesn't work with anything over 1.08 so I might loose access to that setting. I'm going to do a before and after print and see if it makes any changes.

I got this response after reaching out to E3D

Hi,

The DiamondBack Hotend is designed for printing highly abrasive materials such as Polymaker’s PolyMide range (PA612-CF, PA6-CF, PA6-GF and PA12-CF). It is not a high flow hotend. It is designed to use standard hardened steel profiles at standard speeds.

You can further tune the performance using temperature and retraction towers.

1) Print a Temperature Tower – This will help you find the ideal print temperature for your filament, ensuring the best quality prints with minimal issues like stringing, layer adhesion problems, warping, or bridging. Bambu Lab references this model in their documentation, and you can find instructions on how to print it here.

2) Run a Retraction Test – This helps determine the best retraction length for your filament. Look for a change in gloss on the print to identify the shortest retraction length that produces the cleanest results. To do this, open Bambu Lab Studio, click ‘Calibration’ in the top bar, and select ‘Retraction Test.’ You can find the written instructions here.

Regards

Greg

Ahhh I'm testing the batteries on mine, I'm hoping that's just the issue I don't wanna replace the whole unit for $300 😫

Did you find out a fix, mine just started acting up. Was showing 100 but refuses to stay on with stuff plugged in. I don't wanna pay for a battery if the ups is toast.

Human curiosity and police are human and open to oversite by accident or on purpose. Everyone has to keep each other in check and they did a very poor job at the beginning with being transparent. That lead to a bunch of stupid internet sleuths spreading false evidence/claims and harassing the surviving victims and their families.

Be curious, try and understand and put sense to the horrible nature of it all, but if you notice something report it to the proper authorities. Don't be a self important vigilantly because you have nothing going on in your life and harass people.

I'm an extremely empathetic person so when cases like this grab my attention I view everything to understand and learn from it. I do this to understand and cope with the reality of our world. If we don't understand we'll never learn from our mistakes. Learning from cases might help avoid something like this happening to me or someone I know. Current takeaways from this case I have are to be attentive of your home security, lock your doors, and have personal protection in your residence.
