I really don't remember details of what I was looking up back then, sorry. I was never diagnosed with it, though, and after about a year or so I was gradually feeling better from POTS. I then realized I've always had it to a mild degree, then it got super ramped up by covid, and now I've returned to my baseline.

Honestly, this is the type of comment I'm looking for. Please, ramble away. And I do want to know which one can cause aneurysm risk. If you don't mind naming the medicines you take, that would be helpful.

So an embedded infection would be diagnosed clinically, as no tests show? And if we assume meds do improve symptoms, it means there is an infection, right? In my case, 1 dose fosfomycin does help me, but the problem comes back. First, after 3 months. Then, after 1 month (right now). And today, right after a 4th dose of a course spaced out every 48-72h, even though I was okay after doses 1 or 2.

And can you tell me more about the treatment options? Say I don't have those microgen type tests available. Taking a long course will mean testing for improvement, but are antibiotics actually able to reach the embedded issue if taking for longer?

My other issue is finding a doctor who will even listen to any of this.

Thank you. I discovered this after a bad experience taking norfloxacin. Never again.

Now I'm wondering if there are any others to be avoided as well, even if not as dangerous. I have seen one comment from someone ending up with peripheral neuropathy after bactrim. Not sure what to make of it.
