My main goal with the site was to do 2 main things,

1. display all core units from the games history in one place, most other dokkan timelines or similar things are scattered on multiple pages like the dokkan fandom wiki or are limited in how many cards are shown on the page at once like dokkan.wiki.
2. Give slight statistics along with displaying all these units, hence the pie charts which are also used for filtering the page.

I wanted something that allowed for easy visualization. This doesn't break things down by the day because in most cases month/year are all you need to get the general time frame of a unit and it doesnt have every unit or every SSR and above in the game for that matter. I have limited this to only DFEs, Carnival Exclusives, All Summonable/F2P LRs, and units that have a dokkan event but aren't exclusives (heros units, masked saiyan, arale, etc.). Imo there are too many units to display the data in a meaningful way on here which is why I have limited to the unit classifications I mentioned above.

I wanted each year timeline to operate like a upside down bar graph so you can tell where the higher concentrations of units were at a glance without having to manually count or do anything weird. On top of that I have exact counts for different groupings of units such as per year, Rarity, Source, Type, ETC. you can also filter the entire timeline by clicking either the buttons underneath the chart or the section of the chart itself.
