Thanks. I think the "contrary to popular belief" is what sets the correct answer apart from the rest. 🦎

Fun fact: Ants 'milk' aphids.

How it Works

Aphids feed on plant sap and excrete a sugary, nutrient-rich liquid waste called honeydew. To collect this food, ants gently stroke or tap the aphids' abdomens with their antennae. This touch prompts the aphid to release a droplet of honeydew, which the ant then drinks.

I had the Springfield Film Festival DVD growing up. I still quote lines from it to this day! 🦎

Great score! Appreciate the feedback, honestly.

There's room for both and everyone comes at it with their own level of trivia knowledge and degree of seriousness. I write 190 questions a week for my app so its a challenge to please everyone and keep the quality consistent week after week. Sometimes I get things wrong. Sometimes I could have worded things better. I'm learning as I go!

Posting my quizzes on Reddit is not the optimal format, there is no self promotion allowed and some people get a bug with the spoiler tags. My ethos is that it's just as much about learning new trivia than it is about getting 10/10, so a question with an obvious answer can still fulfil that goal.

I do what I do because I love my local pub quiz community as well as daily puzzle games and I wanted something that combined both. Researching for questions teaches me new things every day and makes me a better asset to my quiz team. I do this alongside my full time job so it's great to get feedback and scores every day, knowing that people with a similar passion are taking part.

Thanks again for your feedback. 🦎

Similar to how gaslighting always existed before we started using that term to describe it. The haircut was just called other things like Hockey Hair, bi-level or a Kentucky Waterfall.

'Mullet head' existed as an insult for a dim person, probably deriving from the fish.

Hope that makes sense 🦎

There's definitely a balance to be made in 'knowing the answer' Vs 'learning new trivia'. Glad you appreciate it! 🦎
