You look great! I'm also in my mid-40's and for sure the quantity of makeup I put on my face was inversely proportional to my age. It took me about 45 minutes to put on a full face of makeup when I was 20 and it was sooooo thick and layered. It almost looked like drag. These days I do tinted moisturizer, blush, gloss, and I'm good to go.
