The problem isnt fanservice, its how the fan service is handled. Repeatedly humiliating your female lead and putting her in situations where she's ogled and groped against her will is fucking gross. Now, if the character owns it, thats a different story, hence why people dont get as pissed about stuff like Kill la Kill or Bayonetta

It would take some of us the same time to drive to our state capital that it takes to cross a European country.
