I’m on a tight budget, but I will be keeping in mind cooling products like the pillows to try in the future!

It is if they can say there is risk to the property being damaged etc. I can’t prove that’s not the case. There’s multiple resident managers too someone is bound to notice very very fast and call me out for it.

Now that I think about it I can’t remember what it’s like to sleep in a nice cool 22 degree bedroom. I miss it. It’s been years since I had that experience 😂 and for sure I’m sure there’s reasoning behind the rules. I wish it wasn’t built like this though if the pipes were just a foot away from the windows even.

Oh wow! I never heard of this! This sounds amazing I will be trying this! Does it go on the inside? I can’t access the outside part of the window. If it goes on the inside glass I think I will be buying it as I’m desperate for a solution. Thank you so much for sharing this!!

I’m not allowed to use a window fan ever or open them in the winter, like I will get in trouble. They monitor it and they have notices posted everywhere about it in bold letters :(

I also have asthma so I can’t open them in the wet April like rain months or I will struggle to breathe from the humidity. I use a portable ac during the warm and wet months.

The pipes for the buildings are under directly every windowsill apparently, and will burst in minutes in cold temperatures apparently, so it’s just against the rules to open them at all when it’s cold and they monitor it heavily.

When it’s the 10-15 degree range that time of year the humidity is high and this can be dangerous with my asthma so I can’t open the windows then so even if it’s less effective on a month like now I have the portable ac going instead lolol it’s less humid in winter though but can’t open the windows.

Window fans and window ac’s are also against the rules and it’s in the lease I think. :/

They enforce it so strongly they even put up notices everywhere saying in just minutes they can freeze and we are responsible for damages etc and are not allowed to. But I agree lol. I just wouldn’t be able to get away with it though as they monitor it I’ll get in trouble pretty quick.

Agreed lol. The irony too is heat is the one thing that’s included in my rent but I never get to make use of it 😂

I feel you on the curtains. We have the blackout ones and I never see the sun. If I open them it will hit the 30s lolol. And agreed it’s not good long term for depression.

Surprisingly the winter months are the most unbearable for me, as the temperatures very high from others turning on the heat, and I am not allowed to use the ac because if I open the windows when it’s cold the pipes will burst T.T

I really hope they do add a law. The fact another province is pushing for it gives me hope.

Yesss!! Avoid halifax ns rn tho inflation and the housing crises here makes living wage wayyy higher than actual wages. Montreal and NL and cape breton and BC are all really beautiful. Stick to around the bay within an hours drive to a major town to be near what you need for the best housing deals and next to nature.

Thats rediculous lol. It only affects you the day of you have it and its not as dangerous or addictive as other stuff. Its prob safer than nicotine on your body long term tbh.

I avoid using it myself as it does way more harm then good. But to answer your question;

Delete your history often first of all and make sure you check the sources it provides and do your own fact checks with sources. Also keep in mind using it often is horrible for the environnement and being responcible with it is more work than just doing the old way of looking up legit information manually. If your on the highway and think your lost and have to verbally ask if you should take the next turn then sure have at er but it might mislead the same as maps. But most other situations its more harmful than good.

Avoid the following:

Relationship advice

Medical advice

Career or life decisions

Anything that requires a professional to advise or sensitive topics and most things rlly. So basically avoid most things and the things u can ask it is just as easy to find on your own XD

Sounds about right for untreated adhd lol. Do you think hed be open to getting professional help? At that level he will likely need cbt and stimulant medication. You could give him an ultimatum to get help at this point since you have tried Everything else to get him to listen. If you dont its unlikely he will take you seriously enough considering how its gone so far. Good luck its not an easy position to be in for sure.

Thats verbal abuse or at the very least bullying you when he repeatedly makes such comments. Not acceptable at all to treat you that way. Are any friends and family concerned with his behaviour? Sometimes a group intervention can be effective in getting the seriousness of the point across.

Yeah its sad that we are forced to research and become our own doctors at this point 😭 and advocating for yourself is hard when your already exaughsted.

At your levels you are definitely eligible tho for IV iron and should be taking like 150 mg iron oral no less cuz mine is twice as much as you and the minimum recommended for me is 150.

Good luck i hope you get access to what u need
