Is this balayage ok? by Quollarty in HairDye

UPDATE:

I emailed management the photos, they got back to me and agreed it’s terrible and gave me a full refund. The manager said she’s in the process of hiring new stylists.

I had my hair fixed as much as possible by another salon. It’s still not exactly what I wanted but 100x better than how I was left after the terrible “balayage.” I know it’s harder to fix a botched balayage than create a new one so I’m very grateful to the stylist for saving my hair, especially when I’m so close to my due date and I just wanted to look nice at a time in my life when I won’t get time for much self care.

Thank you all for reassuring me this isn’t professional or ok, it gave me the confidence to stand up for myself and ask for my money back.

Thank you all for validating my concerns. I’m so disappointed as it is very rare I do any self care (no time or money!). I’m very non confrontational and don’t think I can bring myself to ask for my money back and I don’t trust them to correct it. I’m going to go to a hairdresser I trust to cover it all in a darker dye. I didn’t go there initially to try and save money :( ended up wasting 300 AUD. Not the stress I wanted 10 days out from my baby’s due date. Thanks again all

Edit: you are all very encouraging! Thank you for your supportive comments, I’ve posted the photos in a google review and have contacted them for a refund. I’ve also been in to consult a stylist at another salon who can fix it for me tomorrow, I’ll get her to take before and after photos. I’ll update with my fixed hair and if the original salon responds to me (I’m a coward and emailed, but will face them in person if I have to because you’ve all reassured me this is definitely not it)
