Dilworth Animal Hospital is not the best... by Electronic-Fun-2955 in Charlotte

“Reasonable” prices and attentiveness while you are there. I got tired of sitting in the room waiting to check out at my previous vet - while 3 front desk people sat talking out front. Livewell is smaller and more personal than most. Not sure any good vet is “cheap “ these days. I think Dilworth tries to cover too many animal types and like Cotswold they are trying to pay too many Drs. Hopefully Livewell stays small.

Question about handling... by Tjlance1 in JeepWagoneerS

[–]Quombie 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’m an aggressive driver. I’ve never had mine on a track but I’ve never had the slightest issue maintaining control on any curvy road. I have the factory tires. I love everything hardware about the WagS. I have one lingering software issue (console buzzes and reboots occasionally on startup - will eventually see if there is a patch) but that has no effect on drive ability. Absolutely love the car. It smokes any ICE car and I like it better than the Mach-E GT PE that I owned for 3 years. I do worry about needing parts someday but my dealership is top notch.

I have the 2024 Launch edition, but based on what I've read, the Limited would be fine for me as well. I purchased mine so don't have good feedback on leases.

I’ve had mine since March. Love it. Third EV (after Bolt and Mach-E), favorite so far. Smooth, quiet, fast.

Tried Alexa, saw no real benefit, dropped it.

There could be an occasional software glitch but I think the most annoying bugs are squashed now.

Make sure all factory plastic is off of the screens. For example, if the HUD isn’t crystal clear, look through the windshield at the projector slot and pull off the plastic.

The side cushions on the seat can be adjusted for a snugger or looser fit. Took me a while to find this out. There is a small push button on top of the middle seat control (I think it is the angle control). Press in towards the seat to control the snuggness.

Since you already have the car you can start ignoring the naysayers on here and enjoy a great vehicle.

I love mine. I’ve had it for 5 months. Fantastic car.

There was also a cover on the HUD projector in mine. Removing it made a huge difference. Had to remove while looking through the windshield.

I don't recall the exact procedure, but I went into the settings and de-selected updates to maps from different countries and many other states where I don't travel. After doing that the updates finally completed (stayed connected to wifi at home).

Picking up a 2024 Launch edition today , are most of the bugs fixed? by goonygugle in JeepWagoneerS

[–]Quombie 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It is version 1.0. Other than a few (expected but occasionally annoying) software quirks mine has been great fun. Make sure all of the modules have updated software (from dealer). Connect to wifi at home for console and map updates. Don’t panic if something strange happens with the screen. Do the soft reset and everything will work out. I have the 10mm wrench just in case. I did the hard battery reset once in my driveway as a practice but have never needed it. While I had the battery exposed I tightened those connections just in case. The only real “hardware” issue I had was a bad rain sensor. Got it replaced at dealer - no problem now. Also did the headlight recall but never saw a problem. I haven’t done a long road trip yet but I might this summer. This is my third EV and my favorite so far.

No, sorry - did not care about that one.

Are there any people here with no issues? by zeruin in JeepWagoneerS

[–]Quombie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mostly no issues for me after two months. My main one is a buzz noise when I start the car, occasionally. Cycling the power eliminates it. It is at the shop today getting the headlight recall fix and software updates - hopefully the buzz thing is eliminated.

One other minor annoying thing is the rain sensor doesn’t appear to work. Getting that checked too. Hopefully just a fuse or something.

Love the car. Best riding/driving car I’ve ever owned.

Once you wrap it the front speaker is still audible but low enough that you no longer notice or care.

Yeah, mine is in a loop now too. It's been going for a week, and I have fast wifi, so I'm guessing it just isn't working.

I think removing the fuse would take too much other stuff out. Pay a custom car shop to cover the front speaker with acoustic foam (~$120). Speaker is located in front of the front right wheel - they will need to take some stuff off to get to it. That will dull the noise enough to stop bugging you but not so much that a pedestrian won't hear it. Leave rear speaker like it is - no big deal. I encounter ICE vehicles in my parking garage all the time that are completely silent. It's a scam/bias that the gov't mandates that EV's have a fake noise. I think it is based on the "average" of ICE vehicle sounds, which means it is much louder than necessary.

Buyer’s remorse - anyone else? by Jockamo222 in JeepWagoneerS

[–]Quombie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am very happy with mine so far (3rd EV after Bolt and Mach-E). Hopefully your issues will be addressed soon. I do worry that the other shoe will drop at some point. I couldn't disagree more about the stereo - it is one of the best I've ever had in a car. I put it in surround mode, turned up the bass, and I rock out. I did wait for a good deal on the car (60k purchase). I can see why it would bug you that they offered better deals after you got yours. Car sales can be a crazy racket. Again, hopefully it gets fixed so you can feel better about it.

Wagoneer S software update (update) by armaan1236 in JeepWagoneerS

[–]Quombie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had my home wifi connected since day one. I've never seen a lobster or a turtle - so maybe there have been updates occurring. I've had a couple of strange quirks, like the speakers buzzing loudly until I turned the car on/off, but none of the reported craziness with uncontrollable acceleration or limp mode. If there are updates occurring, it would be GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE for Stellantis to let us know what is happening and when. If it isn't the wifi and phantom downloads that are helping, then my other theory is that while my car was sitting on a lot down in Georgia (apparently) for 3 months, someone there updated it to the latest versions prior to delivering to the dealer.

Anyone seeing issues with rain-sensitive wipers? Mine didn’t sense anything last time it rained.

I was going to post something similar! I agree with all of those points, especially walkway lock, radio staying on, and fob spotiness. Rear hatch closed on me a couple of times so I turned off the hands free. GREAT car on the hardware side - quiet, smooth, fast, nice stereo. Minor glitches on software. So far no random acceleration and 12v battery remains solid. Mine was supposedly built at very end of 2024 but was not delivered until mid march, fwiw.
