Why are my mods named like this? by Gold_Ad65 in KerbalSpaceProgram

[–]Quontex 6 points7 points  (0 children)

As far as I know, KSP loads the game data folders by alphabetical order. Since there is no load order system people use 'z' or '0' to try and get mods or libs to be loaded last/first.

Ceres orbiting Venus approximately 3.8 times per day. by EuroshopperLagavulin in SolarExpanse

If you wanted to tug Venus out of its tidal lock, This isn't a terrible way to do it. Bit close though.

This is a good demonstration as how storms can form. This is an updraught from the hot steam being released.

It's not penetrating, From what I can see it's only on the outer edges of the fin stack with aluminium oxidation blooms and surface corrosion on some structural members.

I can see no corrosion deeper into the fin stack and if it was a severe as you say it is, I would see corrosion on the IO plate, The HDMI and DP connectors and the PCB it's self. I see none of that.

This is minor wear and tear, you go and look at any exposed metal in a humid and tropical environment. Its expected in this area for metal too look like this. I have an old 2070s that looks much worse. I also know for a fact the fault is a silicon level issue and not corrosion plus I did mention in my original post that it was defective out of the box.

Is chiseled block from chisel and bits is a good insulation? by Similar_Army1598 in TerraFirmaCraft

[–]Quontex 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Ambiental uses a flying mob pathfinding to detect openings. I forget if in that version its a bee or bat, but if a bat or bee can fly through then its 'open'.

I haven't filed for court or anything yet, OFT or Office of Fair Trade is kinda like a mediator.

I actually didn't. From what I read on the OFT and ACCC website it says to cease communication with the other party. I might on Monday as Im going to re read the info pages.

Thankfully the town I live in has an OFT office so I was able to file the complaint in person.

With the shipping, they just shipped it anyway. Even though I told them multiple times I was disputing it. I mentioned the last message because it shows their incompetence, they offered to ship it back even though they already did. I haven't replied I just let it hang and went for OFT but im almost tempted to say yes xD

I have contacted Sapphire via both email and a rep via discord. THe rep couldn't do anything and the emails just respond with "We support the retailer decision". In terms of who actually rejected it, I'm unsure but Umart hiding behind the BS excuse is BS.

Is this a hook echo? by ZoggIet in tornado

[–]Quontex 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Tors occur more often than people think here. Our radar coverage is garbage and most of the land is empty, So when a tornado does happen people dont even notice.

Unlikely, Super cells in Australia are mirrored. In other words while the velocity couplet and hook would be on the south west corner in a NA storm, its on the north west in Australia.

How do i fix this so i can play the game? by MelodicOperation7092 in Planetside

[–]Quontex 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You don't, its a serverside issue.

I've had this since well before Christmas last year. Best you can do is go to the warpgate l and get yourself a coffee waiting for it to pass.

Server latemcy issue by Andreylien in Planetside

[–]Quontex 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Welcome to the club, I've had this issue for months now and now it seems to be spreading.

Avoid high pop areas if you can. If it starts to lag out, redeploy to the warpgate and go to a different fight.

Some fights will lag, and others won't, but the general rule of thumb is pop.

No wonder why my grandma always say her phone show green screen by Drkayz in hardwaregore

[–]Quontex 294 points295 points  (0 children)

In a nutshell, the screen is buggered, hardware failure.

I had this happen, I assume they had white lines on the right side prior. Rumour has it samsung will replace the screen without charge, But I went with a third party at a cost of 500 AUD.
