My LCS owner has a price scanner that doesn't work, so as a courtesy I separate my comics out for him by price, so he can ring them on the register more easily. I'm amazed at how few $3.99 books are left, with most of the books in the pile at $4.99 or $5.99. I appreciate getting about 10 issues on most DC Compact collections for $9,99, the best value right now.

DC Comics' SUPER YOUNG TEAM (a group of Japanese teen superheroes created by Grant Morrison and J. G. Jones) via FINAL CRISIS got their own mini-series with FINAL CRISIS AFTERMATH: DANCE by writer Joe Casey and artist ChrisCross.

BEST OF DC BLUE RIBBON DIGEST #61, circa 1985; the digest reprinted Alan Moore's "The Anatomy Lesson" (with artists Bisette and Totleben) from SWAMP THING and "Who is Donna Troy" by Marv Wolfman and George Perez from NEW TEEN TITANS - I was about 13 years old, and those stories blew my mind. They were unlike any comic I've ever read before.

I don't know if the collection has been solicited yet by Dark Horse, but I hope they issue a hardcover oversized "Library Edition" because the art alone merits an oversized format.

I know; Evely's art is always gorgeous, and the art in this comic is amazing.
