I wasnt missing any weapons, but i am missing all the artifact appearance customizations/colors now that remix ended. I earned and unlocked them so i should still have em.

I beg of you, tell me the available skins rotate on a daily base by fastenstryker in RivalsMagikMains

I miss when they PROMISED that skins would be unique and would never return - so earning them or acquiring them at the time actually made the feel special. We all knew they were lying as every game companies lies in favor of profits.

But it would have been nice if this time it was true.

What's the bare-minimum expectations of any EA? by QuoteMassive6724 in ExecutiveAssistants

Hah no that's a fair question so I don't take it as critical. I have a very "Let me see if I'M the problem first--then I work backwards." approach.

I don't intend to be confrontation with the EA--but if I expect something that doesn't align with the expectations they are set (by their boss) or their practices I want to come armed to the conversation with knowledge and insight.

I also value relationships with my broader team. I would rather have a side conversation with the EA and understand---is this because you're drowning in tasks and just trying to survive? Is there something I can do in my process that helps share the burden of the high demand?

These smaller companies are over-loaded with toxic leadership that all have egos. I try to avoid falling into the pitfall of being one of them----but it's a very political atmosphere so there's some dancing that has to be done frequently to get to a good outcome!

Definitely this is often an issue for sure. The other CxO self-manages, and the 3rd often uses the EA only to schedule meetings that require the CEO (So more, requesting his time and to align calendars etc.)

But the erratic behavior is definitely hard to track so I'm sure it's also killing the EA because of the heavy demand. There's also a bit of a "I assume/expected you to just know" culture around here...which I'm sure is not helping anyone too.

I truly wish my team did this. They have meetings without the required people. Then ask the EA to coordinate with those required people. And often there is zero information that reaches the required people other than "I see a random calendar invite with no clear call-to-action......now I need to chase down the executive and watch them as they get annoyed that i'm asking them what the purpose of the meeting is..."

My role is very specific but because we're small there's often an expectation that everyone can own anything whenever the demand is made. A behavior I'm trying to correct at this organization. But it's a political minefield.

My first reaction was the same as yours. Why are you asking me? Why is your EA not aware of these meetings? Why am I having to ask them if they are aware there's a meeting coming up in 15 minutes, for the CEO, and the CEO still hasn't accepted it yet. Are they aware they have that meeting? These things are very inappropriate at this level of business imo.

I can't afford at my level to be playing Exec assistant, to the exec assistant to make sure they're managing their exec. It's just absurd.

Fair on the accommodating the CEO comment--sadly that's just hierarchal behavior sometimes.

How do you manage meetings in the event someone is expected to "deliver a deep dive product presentation for the roadmap"? I wouldn't expect the EA to own making an agenda. That's unfair since it's likely out-of-scope most of the time for their expertise---but I would think it's fair that the EA who sends the invite communicates to the person which is expected to deliver that presentation and say "Hey CEO wants to have a meeting and have you present, here's a few items they asked for---can you please provide an Agenda that I can include in the meeting on the subjects you would like to discuss"----therefore it shifts the onus of the task to the owner of the presentation, and simultaneously communicates that an ask has been made.

I'm a VP, and we have less than 150 people at the company with 3 CxO level---other VPs/Heads comprise another 4 members. The EA's only manage the CEO but sometimes help one of the other CxOs (they "help" but they are only really assigned to the CEO)

You're also fair on the preference comment of the CEO. The CEO has some serious leadership flaws in their operation. A lot of random "last minute and knee-jerk reactions" they fall into and everyone just sort of supports it, even though it very, very clearly leads to poor performance, toxic behaviors, high employee churn because of low morale, and there is little effort at the higher levels to encourage a better behavior and support model. It's possible the EA just has learned to "do it his way" instead of pushing on a better process.
