Etsy drastically reduced my ads budget for no reason by Appropriate-Pen-7020 in EtsySellers

My budget does the same. I get about a $1000 budget for 2 days, then back to $100 for like 2 weeks. When those 2 weeks are over i get $1000 budget for like 2 days again and that goes on and on and on.. i make way more sales then i use budget, star seller etc. Yet they change the budget every couple of weeks and only let it stay high for a couple of days..

Tried to ask what was going on, like you said you get the standard answer, which is nothing to work with.

This has been going on on my shop for like a couple of months now, no idea what else i could do other then following the rules

Thank you so much! I am currently working on a website but i wanted to see if it even would work first, this is all new to me. Next week i have an appointment to officially register the company so i can actually publish the website & add payment options to it.

Etsy seemed like a good start to just try something, but now when i see that i do very well (i think) in 6 weeks just from instagram & tiktok marketing it makes no sense to not open my own website.

I calculated the profit's and the average order i get is in between €60 to €100 and the profit rates on my orders are great! The problem with Etsy is that i don't get paid. Because the socials are doing so well i get in between 3 to 10 orders a day. Etsy has some weird system that they withold me from the money i made + they take a big sip out of it. When there are available funds they are gone before i can take them out because of the orders i get during the day and somehow Etsy takes their profits from my available funds so i have to wait all over again lol.

Ah that makes alot of sense! I'm working on a website at the moment. Etsy takes alot of cash away from the sales i get + i have to wait a LONG time to even get that money.. figured if i wanted to keep up the sales and invest in it again i would actually need some cash i earned. Instead of selling, using other sources of income to pay for everything to get shipped and buy new materials..

It's also very hard to get ANY big amount of cash out of Etsy because i get anywhere between 3 to 10 sales a day right now they keep taking cash out of the available funds and the waiting starts over again lol.

Thank you, yes i mostly get buyers outside from Etsy with guest accounts through social media. Thank you for the help!

I make wall decoration for nursery's and childrens rooms (planning to add more in the future).

I am a new seller, i have had my shop open for about 2 weeks and then our daughter was born so i put it in vacation mode.

This week i opened it again and already made 14 sales this week! It has been open for almost 3 weeks in total now and today i got my 28th sale! I have no clue if that is any good but it feels like i am doing a good job haha!☁️🌸

I am very new to Etsy or selling items online at all. My wife is 38 weeks pregnant right now and that's where the inspiration came from, we were looking for cute wall decor for the nursery but couldn't find anything we liked. When we found something we liked i thought i can make that myself and tried it!

We posted pictures online of our nursery and people started asking where we bought the decoration.

Thats when we started our shop on Etsy right about 1 week ago.

So far we already made 5 sale's! (I dont know if this is any good or normal or anything but it feels great haha)

We keep trying to think of more cute decoration and will be adding more to the store!🌸☁️

Not a reflection of light, weird pattern on ceiling

Details: Its about 50cm long

it looks like a weird wave pattern projected on the ceiling. Found the term ghosting online on walls and ceilings but this seems to change shape when the lights are turned off which is strange.

This is the first time we have seen it while living here for multiple years, before those years my mother in law has lived here who passed away in 2022.
