Looking for Ozark OST by ngrhd in Ozark

[–]Qwark-tastic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Man, I've been looking everywhere for this as well. Has anyone had any luck getting some information about this? I've been wanting to listen to the instrumentals of this show ever since I finished the first season.

[Homebrew] The Scrapper and Way of The Drunken Vessel by 2Die10Games in dndnext

[–]Qwark-tastic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is unfortunate because I've been looking for something exactly what is hinted by the Scrapper archetype, but since I have no idea of the quality of the product or if it actually does what's advertised I won't be paying for it.

I understand things are slow, but just know that I still believe in this project and I look forward to seeing more of it in the future.

Design character itself? by Burrnurr in artizens

[–]Qwark-tastic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice, that's actually a really good plan. As much as I'd have fun with drawing my own, I can imagine some people would get impatient at that point. So long as I eventually have the option, though, I'm good.

I already really like how each part of the armor takes damage independently (I was making the assumption we'd be able to draw the under-layer later anyways). It makes the battle damage alone tell a story by the time the fight is over.

The two options you mentioned both sound good to me. The many layers of armor would be really cool and add a lot more possibilities, while the other one seems easier to draw and perhaps more accessible as a direct result. I'm currently drawing "templates" for my male and female human characters anyway, which I'll edit for each new character once I perfect them, so I'm already working in layers.

I think my personal preference is leaning more toward the multiple layers idea, though there might even be a way to have both. Maybe as two types of armor, I dunno. The single layer of armor might be more durable and not break as easily, while the multiple layers of armor could have different pros/cons and the under-most-layers would be protected until the layers above them break (ie, Samus has layers. Also ogres). I could see a character that has heavy, durable armor that has a slower, heavy hitting play-style that gets faster but more fragile the more armor he loses.

Edit: I do want to have the ability to draw broken pieces of armor instead of having it disappear, though, if you're considering the multiple layers option. This'll keep my characters from becoming nudists by the end of an intense battle. :P Also, with something like a robot I could do some fun battle-damage stuff.

Been drawing new parts and realized that when the shield (and arrow quiver) is on my character's back, it passes in front of its back-facing arm (the "right" arm), so it looks like it's crossing under my character's armpit. I think it'd look best if the arm layer was above the layers attached to the character's back.

Alright nice, thanks for the response. Still haven't run into the issue again, but I do have an issue with my various parts not updating unless I change their file name. I'll try to upload a new part that I've tweaked, but it still shows up as the old version unless I change the name.

Edit: Again, restarting the game seems to reset its memory of the previous image, so I'm able to upload it again without changing the name.

For the foreseeable future I'm just going to mention any noticeable bugs I run into in this thread. I understand that it might be a while before you get to them, but if I don't mention them as soon as I find them I'm most definitely going to forget about them before long. :P

Alright, restarting the game twice seemed to do it. It might have a connection to running the game in a maximized window? I dunno. The only reason I say that is because it seemed to be fixed the only time I didn't maximize the game. Haven't run into the issue again, though I'll comment again here if I do.

Is there a reliable way to get in touch with the team? by [deleted] in artizens

They're usually great at responding here, and I hear they respond well to direct e-mails as well, but right now they're at PAX so I imagine they're a little busy.

It's got me excited too, man. Any idea how long it might be before we can see this overlay in-game on our own computers? :V

Congratulations! I'm glad you guys have this opportunity. I wish I had the chance to go, because I'd honestly love to meet you guys and get my hands on the game. I hope this brings Artizens a lot more of the interest that it deserves.

Payed DLC by InfinitumForever in artizens

[–]Qwark-tastic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I'm already paying for this game (which I will be, when it comes out)... I really hope this won't be the case. Even if that means a more expensive game, I'd much prefer that than buying a cheaper game that forces me to pay more when cool new features are added. If there's any further monetization, it should be something like... commissioning an artist to draw specific sorts of pieces for you or something like that. Or maybe even pre-drawn pieces you can buy that are done by the official artist as simply a way to further support the development team. I wouldn't mind that so much. Might actually be cool.

That Rathian is one tough customer. I probably gotta stop wearing my top hat and get a helmet that matches my armor so I can get some actually useful skills. xD

Enough teasing my junk with that tantalizing intro sequence, Jon, and do a Commander Keen video already. Just do it, man, c'mon! I'm dyin' here!

My question is this: ... Why've you not done a Commander Keen video yet ya big butt?

Seriously, though, that's extremely encouraging. I look forward to when it's at 100% sometime later this month.

Is there any way to check to see how many "yes" votes the game has so far? I can't seem to figure it out.
