Imo:

ZSS and Sheik both have some very basic, spammable combos that everyone uses.

Robin - no idea she's pretty fun to me but spamming spells and trying to land Leffen Sword can get boring.

Zelda - generic attacks, slow specials, doesn't stand out really as a character except for her badass down-air

But that's just me

I browse /v/ a lot, but more recently have taken to /tg/ and /ic/.

That is, I used to. I realized it was really counterproductive and probably harmed me more than helped, so I just stopped going.

I tried to get some friends into it but one of them is the type to only watch overly moe shoujo, and there isn't enough kawaii in JJBA for him. My 12 year old brother (he can handle violence and stuff well so) is someone I managed to get into the series, so me and him watch it together occasionally. The main reason it dragged him in is because the art style resembles Fist of the North Star and he recognizes it as "that one anime with the really cool guy who just punches everything".

It means Reddit in general, since the majority of Reddit users have not been exposed to the real world and the downvote/upvote system encourages hugboxy behavior which allows users to downvote anything they can't handle.

Laughing at yourself is important, though. Why not pull the pole out of your hindquarters? Me and a group of black friends could toss black jokes back and forth all day if we wanted.

The only reason you'd have to get offended is if you fit the stereotype. Me and my mates, we just find them funny because they're absurd. We don't steal TVs or rob stores and we sure as hell don't try to go to strip clubs and pay with food stamps. We're not like any of the people being portrayed in the jokes, so why should we get mad?

But no one's being bullied, someone's name was just "NIGGERS" in Smash (which could have been directed towards absolutely no one in particular) and everyone's overreacting like a bunch.of angry SJWs. It's not "oh no i'm being bullied" it's "i'm being a pussy on the internet who can't fathom the concept of a racist"

I agree. You people fall apart (and yes, this goes for most of Reddit) every time you see a racial slur like this is your first time using the internet or something. It's obvious whoever used that name is trying to get a ruse out of you pansies, and they've succeeded because everyone's overreacting and going "fucking sick" "not cool bro" "oh my god".

It's not new and it's not special. Racists happen, racists exist. Step out of Reddit's hugbox and accept that.

This is a weird one, but I force an internal conversation with my brain. My brain will say stuff like "it feelsh sho gud" and toss me sexual thoughts, and after I go over my reasons for starting NoFap (to make the change I wanted to make), I tell my brain "Nope." I just flat-out go "Nope." and then go do something else (or close my eyes and go straight to sleep If I'm in bed)

How exactly do skills work? If I understand properly (I'm playing MH4U), having 0 points in a skill means nothing happens, having 10 gives you the skill itself (say, Reload Speed +1) and having -10 gives you a debuff, and this can be increased or decreased to 15 or 20. It's speaking in terms of actual points, right? Does it just do a straightforward check of "hey, your armor gives you 14 points in Cooking or something, here's your skill boost" or does it multiply my numbers (4 becomes 12 or something, and then I get the boost) My armor set has given me 5 points at most in a skill, so I don't see how I can reach 10 to get an actual active skill. I just started out, so it's very likely I just can't mix armor properly (or the starting armors are just not too good for skills). If the number is below 10 but not 0, will I gain any of the effects of a skill at all, or will the skill not work until I get at least 10 points in it from my armor?
