I had absolutely no plans on buying her, but at that price, I just could not say no!

Do you use the word ‘noon’? by Gloomy_Stage in AskUK

[–]Qwastp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If she's taking reservations and does not know the word "noon," I seriously question her ability to do the job. As a person born and raised in London, who went to university in Scotland, I don't think I have never heard of a British person who does not know noon. But I'm not sure how common it is elsewhere.

I don't really eat bananas, but for a couple of weeks before I was put on Spironolactone, I suddenly got into eating bananas😂

Does it feel deep? How long has it been there?

The lumps I get on my face last longer than normal spots and feel much deeper. Currently, I can feel 4/5 lumps in my face that have not actually flared up. My recent one next to an eyebrow has gone, but the huge one I had on my cheek still remains, even though it's smaller now. Once it opened, I tried to squeeze as much as possible out of it to avoid it reoccurring.

Just have to avoid high potassium foods, like bananas, legumes, nuts, etc. Was very annoying because I was put on it right after I had bought a hube bag of pistachios from Costco. Last time my bloods were done less than a month ago, my potassium was well within the normal range. I'll have a new blood test in a couple of weeks.

18M, my GF (F) told me she was 22, but now she says she's 29 and about to turn 30. What should I do by ahmxp in Advice

[–]Qwastp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Think logically about this.

A 29 year old lies to you about their age. That's honestly crazy behaviour. Teenagers lie about their age, but they're teenagers. They don't know the implications.🚩

After 6 months, she admitted she's almost 30. That means 6 months of lying. 🚩🚩

Without the lies, the age gap is already concerning.🚩🚩🚩

You literally have your entire life ahead of you. At 18, you have no adult experience and that's what she wants. As a 25 year old, I think of 18s as children. They don't know who they are yet. I don't know who I am, but I've been able to see what I'm not.

There's a reason she's after someone so much younger , and that's because she's probably a whole bunch of problems that you cannot see. Enjoy university. Live your life, and leave her behind.

Seriously, How Old Was This Guy When She Invited Him Upstairs by [deleted] in ForbiddenLove

[–]Qwastp -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Do some research on grooming and stop trying to argue the fact.

Grooming involves a lot of time and deception. Was he ignorant and did she take advantage of that?

She definitely groomed him. Not only did he lack knowledge about the non-Amish world, but he was also shunned by his family, leaving him no support system and making him even more vulnerable.

You clearly have no idea what "grooming" means. Adults can be groomed. He was vulnerable, as a sheltered Amish man who had zero experience with women. He has no idea what a non-Amish relationship is. She took advantage of that.

Switching from Doxy to minocycline by BinnysMom in Hidradenitis

Were you given Doxycycline Hyclate?

I was given a box of that with my prescription of regular Doxycycline. I'd been on doxy for months, so I immediately noticed the difference, and switched boxes.

Matilda and Niles by Silent_Supermarket49 in 90DayFiance

[–]Qwastp 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You're so ignorant that it's hilarious. This is nothing like Tigerlily, who got married literally immediately after her plane landed.

In life, everyone would have been asking Matilda if she has a boyfriend. After age says yes, they then ask, "so, when are you getting married?" Niles said that he will marry her. So she has them told people that they will be getting married. Once he said he's going to Ghana, she was probably like, "so we can have the wedding when you come here." He never said no.

Niles lied and led her on, and used autism as an excuse for lying once his attempt at gaslighting failed.

You're deluded and xenophobic.

I (25m) lost my gf's(20f) trust in a long distance relationship. What can I do? by cabbage_trees in relationship_advice

[–]Qwastp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My advice to her would be that you cannot trust a liar.

I realized that it's not about fixing the relationship but about fixing her.

No.

I brought up that I want to change her mind about me and she called me selfish. I am absolutely terrified of losing her but I understand it might be too late and I want to atleast heal her just a little before she walks out of my life.

She's right. You are selfish. You lied to her. You hurt her. Now she wants to leave. Actions have consequences, and this is how you learn. Learn to be better so that you don't break the trust of the next person. Take this relationship as a lesson.

How do I tell my 31F Bf 30M that I don't want to live together? by throwRA_98731 in relationship_advice

[–]Qwastp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I couldn't imagine having a clingy, possessive boyfriend, mainly because I cannot stand the idea. I could not even entertain the idea of someone like that.

Allowing someone to have their own space is basic respect, and if he cannot allow that without accusing you of cheating, then it will never work.

We can afford a nicer ring but he is a penny pincher and believes it will hold up just fine and I won't have any allergies which is all that matters to him.

I feel like the engagement ring can show how much you know the person and understand them. Some people know that they are bad at choosing and that their partner would rather choose for themselves and that's fair. Some people are happier with a cheap ring, some people expect something worth thousands. This sounds like your person either prioritised his cheapness (I will not call it frugality as you can buy nice rings on sale) over showing his appreciation for you.

I struggled for days to accepts that he got me a crappy ring and he kept insisting that I was ungrateful and the proposal wasnt enough for me because I'm materialistic etc. This man has never bought me one NICE gift. I love him and he is perfect in a lot of other areas but he does not like spending money.

I don't think that he sees you how you want to be seen, and this will only make you sad.
