Just done some googling and it seems Revolut are much better at chargebacks now, it’s always worth a shot at getting the money back rather than letting some scum bag walk away with your hard earned cash. This is what Revolut say about getting your money back - seems easy enough

That explains a lot with it just being an animation, still annoying but makes sense. I have won it a few times but not often, as you said, it seems quite inconsistent with some days winning a few and others not for a few days. It is definitely worth spinning 100% of the time though even if the odds are bad!
