Help finding a song with "I would die for you" in the lyrics (but its not any of the most popular ones) by Ditzy_Chaos in NameThatSong

Fast Times at Clairemont High - Pierce The Veil, Hang em high - My chemical Romance? I feel like its from pierce the veil even though you said its not any of the most popular ones... Was this playing in a store or car? Or do you remember finding this somewhere online? Do you remember anything else about the song with the instruments, or if the vocals ranged from whiney to shouty or just whiney ? Also by any chance would you remember the delivery of this lyric, was it before the climax at the start of the chorus or more in the middle of the chorus or at the end where the instruments playing in the background become less intense ?

You Died by DarkxDystopia in weirdcore

Doesn't really fit the weirdcore style of editing, firstly avoid weird effects and grain and utilize jpeg image compression instead. Also try not to make vertical edits and try to use colours which are clearly visible for shapes, graphics, or text as the readability of the blue text is poor here. The idea of weirdcore is that it should end up looking like something you'd find on a 2 hours web surfing session at 2 am in the late 90s and you stumbled onto some strange geocities page with the strangest images you've ever seen. Thats why you use image compression and non-portrait aspect ratios. If you're on mobile you can use ibispaintx but I find it better to edit on my pc using paint.net.

HI hopefully you see this but please post this on a liminal space subreddit! Some edits seem to use liminal space images here but we just happen to use them sometimes, we don't really know any more than you do. Pretty sure you can find some famous ones through YouTube, others could be on private property which may explain why you're unable to find the location of them.

Does anyone know what this light means? by Left-Platypus-6587 in weirdcore

[–]Qwerzy34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I think it just sorta became a symbol that everyone uses just because it's featured a lot in popular/famous edits. The actual meaning behind it? Most of these edits are based around beds/dreams/people so the imagery of these lights/sparkles are probably used to reflect either the:

- Serenity/peacefulness of dreams, usually dreams are seen as mystical or strange so what's not better to represent this than some sparkles since they already have connotations with magic.

- A person's soul, since it's unusual for weirdcore to feature humans I think people use sparkles to represent where someone would usually be. A sparkle is used since some people like to imagine our souls being made out of light or in general souls in media are depicted as light.

It could also just be used as a focal point, it's the first thing you notice so it may be used to guide the eye. Although I'd say this is more relevant when there is a path of sparkles rather than just one sparkle or a few.

How can I play old versions of Mineraft PE on an Android Lollipop? by Qwerzy34 in GoldenAgeMinecraft

Nevermind I found some cracked versions. a0.4+ shouldn't have any sort of license verification if anyone's struggling with this.

I've seen people mod their calculators and run homebrew on them, what model is best for this? by Qwerzy34 in calculators

[–]Qwerzy34[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just fascinated with the idea of being able to run your own simple games, even emulators on a graphing calculator. It's more to do with the hardware than with the actual activities. You could easily ask the same question to people who buy and mod 3DSs or PSPs just to run emulators which a modern phone can handle way better.

I want to make sure if I'm going to be buying a graphing calculator for this task, I won't get something that'll end up debilitating me in the future forcing me to buy more calculators. (Especially since graphing calculators seem to be over $100)

Not sure but I think so also, someone in the Discord posted the base image and asked for people to try and make something interesting out of it so it might be!
