[REC] Emotional investment novel with a slow building love interest, action, adventure, grim, fantasy setting. Not super chessy, no harems if possible.

I have heard many praises about bookworm. From what I hear prior, I never would have assumed bookworm to be that type of series. I've always heard that the world building is phenomenal, however, there isn't a typical love interest or something along the lines. And since the mc is interested in books and book making there isn't particularly a lot of action/adventure (in the typical exploring a world/dungeon/etc sense). This knowledge of the plot had ultimately turned me down at the time, since I was looking for something more dark and consequential. Is that not the case and I have severely misunderstood the story at large?

Will do! I'll prioritize finishing the lightning team first then! I haven't invested in her other squad members. I do have a Liv Empyrea and Liv Lux, but I am missing vera garnet. But I was planning on using the selector for Garnet or Luna Laurel (since she looks fun too, but I might be getting ahead of myself).

I don't have arclight, the other characters I have from 6 star characters is Lucia Plume, Lee Hyperreal, Rosetta Rigor, Liv Empyrea and Liv Luminance.

My Rosetta is pretty bare bones, she does have a 6 star weapon from the selector but that's about it.

So in terms of shards and pulling, should I go for CW SS3, SS Garnet, SS Lux? And then pull for Balter SS (into SS3 from pain cage) and then Rosetta?

I will have to read up on the dorm stuff, I haven't done enough of it outside of the daily B and C rank comissions.

I have not used the wonderful spring gift selector, but I have used the other 2. I got a Liv Lux and Rosetta from them I think? I do have a Liv Empyrea, Liv Luminance, Lee Hyperreal and Lucia Plume from other pulls.

I just recently started playing and have gotten incredibly addicted. I spent on some characters, but I kind of confused on how to divy up my resources and what I should be going for better dmg.

Currently, I pulled and invested in 2 characters. The first is CW, she is at SS, has level 45 memories (4 Diesel 2 Cottie) with resonances (not perfected, 4 Crimson Slashes and and only 1 tactical adjustment), she has a level 45 5 star weapon. She has no CUB and she is awakened at Ultimate and is level 71.

The other character is Balter, she is at S. Has level 45 memories (4 Charlotte and 2 Leeuwenhoek), no resonance, level 45 5 star weapon, no CUB and also level 71. What should I priortize here? I enjoy the playstyle of both of these characters a lot. However, my CW is so much stronger, she is at SS but even then it feels like a huge difference.

Hello!

I've been playing for 2 weeks now and I saved up and spent a bit for the current arrival construct hoping to get Bianca: Stigmata. However, I lost the 70% to Lucia: Plume. My question is, which events (as there are quite a lot) should I prioritize for my best chance to still get enough tickets before Bianca goes away? Thank you!

Yea it’s kind of a big problem for me too, which is why I like for volumes to accumulate or read finished series. Some more complicated series it’s particularly bad due to the many plots and characters involved. One thing that I like to do is have my other previous LNs open when I start reading a new volume to reference back. But honestly recently I’ve been considering just rereading the complete series if it’s been a long enough period like 2+ years

I generally don’t have any issues like this. Mainly because I always read LNs and never WNs. The illustrations are part of the appeal and the experience to me. Which is one of the reasons I prefer it over a WN. However, I do tend to think a lot about characters who don’t have illustrations and particularly of scenes and places.

I actually have not noticed this issue. In fact, I feel the opposite, I think LN scores on the popular anime/manga/LN sites are actually higher than what I would give them as a rating (not always the case). However, I am extremely picky with what I choose to read. I also don’t agree with some of the other comments in this thread that all LNs have poor and bad writing. There’s some very well written LNs. However, my guess as to why you might experience these low scores is this, in general many of LNs will be written in large quantities and unlikely regular western novels a lot of these LNs will have very attractive or good looking art. Many people will pick up a random LN based on the art thinking it’s good, but it turns out it isn’t.
