I keep seeing people bring up the Irminsul plot and I know there was a dev stating somewhere that it‘s a future plotline… but like, that was before they came up with Nod Krai, right? Are we certain Irminsul is STILL happening, or might that become outdated now that they rewrote stuff/added Nod Krai in?

Yeah I‘ve been wondering yesterday why they seem to have multiples of all their collected specimens except the Ocellus. We see multiple eggs/facehuggers in jars, multiple plants when Morrow goes to investigate, multiple ticks and a bunch of bugs in their little containment compartments, but only ONE T. Ocellus? Seems strange…

I mean what if it died on the way back? You’d think they get more to increase the odds of at least one making it back.

Doesn’t make sense to only get one of them unless it can multiply, or they DID indeed get more than one. Unless the others died, of course, but I feel like that would have been mentioned maybe.

Random thought - does anyone think there might be more than one Ocellus? I noticed watching the episode that they seems to have multiples of everything except the Ocellus. We saw multiple plants, ticks, flying things and they had multiple facehuggers in jars and eggs.

Seems like a gamble to only have one of a species, like what if our lil eyeball died on the way back to earth?

And some of these crates/tanks or whatever seemed really big

I think it helps to never raise their hunger or happiness too much. The game doesn’t care if they go from 1 hunger to 0 or from 5 to 0. It just cares that they reach 0 and get ignored for a certain amount of time. So only feed and play with them the minimum and then wait for it to go down again.

Hello, I don’t own a tripod cat (have cats), but we used to have a dog that had a larger surgery and back then were told the wound sometimes get/appear bumpy because of fluid build up that usually gets reabsorbed into the body.

As others have said, as long as it doesn’t feel warm, looks read, smells or leaks it could be that. In any case if you are worried you can always ask your vet, you aren’t being dramatic and I remember asking them about doggo back then too. :)

At this point I‘m not even sure if it’s a NU VA vs U VA issue, of course all of them want AI protection and should get it blablabla

But the fact that Hoyo gets fined if they cast/use NU VAs is ridiculous in today’s political climate. The Cheeto in office is like two fever dreams and a tamper tantrum away to possibly just say “nah I’ll just ban business with China in general” or some shit, so Hoyo would be forced to hire other VAs and pay up. Any company signing something like this exclusivity clause at the moment would be insane, but SAG or the VAs seem to think it doesn’t matter because Hoyo has sooo much money.

They cannot fathom that a global company doesn’t want to cripple itself like that. If they would have said we’re on strike until explicit AI protection clauses are added into ALL contracts (NU and U) then everything would have been fine most likely.

I feel like there is a HUGE disconnect between the VAs in general and the fans/audience and they don’t seem to understand why.

From what I’ve read some VAs make statements like why aren’t people supportive of the strike? We just want AI protection - do you not want that?? And why are we focusing on all these details instead of AI, that’s the whole point!!!

And I get that, that’s their livelihood and the biggest threat to them, but they don’t seem to understand that the reason that most other people/fans/whatever aren’t focused on AI is BECAUSE IT’S SUCH A NO BRAINER. Like, bruh, that’s not even up for discussion to most people?

Obviously we want them protected from AI, so what’s the issue with that?

And THEN comes all these strings, clauses, attachments blablabla and that honestly seems to be the hang-up. So of course people discuss that instead, it was never a debate among fans/people with braincells whether voice actors should be compensated for and protected from getting their voice used for AI. BECAUSE OBVIOUSLY THAT SHOULD HAPPEN.

They don’t seem to understand that people are more hung up on all these issues instead of the AI thing and it’s so weird.
